My grandfather, HIROSHI SOWA, was a Living National Treasure and continued performing on stage until he was 90 years old, just before he passed away.
We will listen to a performance and talk on the Noh stage of Imamiya Shrine Otabisho, the place where his grandfather first performed on stage.
Noh was perfected by Kannami Zeami in the Muromachi period.
It is also registered as a World Intangible Cultural Heritage.
It is a masked play in which a tragic story based on history and mythology is played to the accompaniment of chants and musical accompaniment.

One of the highlights of this song is "Ranbyoshi", a one-on-one match between the leading role SHITE and Kotsuzumi.
