consistency is whats missing here. not only does nohluhnn portray frutiger metro so well, he manages to blend every single section of the edit to form a coherent whole. next time try to play with the easing curves. in the late 2000s everything was bouncy, so start from there.

feedback : the pacing of the video can be more consistent and quicker, with more effects that give off an old internet vibe

i honestly love the more slow paced kind of edit compared to nohluhn, it feels more authentic rather than just doing it for the aesthetic

the transitions need to be fixed a bit, convert it from vhs to video, should have a bit more distortion or fast glitches.

I think other people have mentioned most of everything, so I'm just gonna give a couple more tips specifically for trying to emulate nohluhn's style. nohluhn leans more towards frutiger metro- more geometric backgrounds, lots of color (especially that one bright green), more silhouettes of people than videos, whereas yours is more frutiger aero- lots of white with less colors, glossy, and more 3d elements. tbh if you just change the background from plain white to a magenta or something and add some black decal-style elements that alone would get you way closer to the style you're imitating. also, if you adjusted it to a part of the song that's more instrumental it would work a little better, since lyrics can be a little bit distracting. I also think some more words on screen would be good, since nohluhn's videos (the few I've seen anyways) are 2000's-style ads, it would be good to add some taglines, descriptions etc. I think those would get you a lot closer to the style you're trying to go for :) (sorry for such a long response, I wanted to make sure I was specific lol)

hmm i feel like ure just stitching videos together without it actually being synced to the beat of the music also the elements of the edit are too simple and theres a lot of blank space whereas nohluhn’s edits have a lot more detail :)
