A question not related to this video, is it useful to clean the stock oil catch can in the 2.4 jtdm engine?
@alfaromeonoproblem5 ай бұрын
Hello. It is self cleaning and self draining. Thanks for watching

hi, very interesting video, do you know if there is the same smooth engine shut-off system on 1.4 turbo multiair ? thank you
@alfaromeonoproblem5 ай бұрын
Hello. All Gasoline engines have that naturally, provided by the throttle body
@DashCamSerbia5 ай бұрын
@@alfaromeonoproblem Even so, I still always shut down my 2.2 JTS engine with the clutch pedal pressed in. And I keep it pressed for like 10 seconds after that. If I do it without pressing the clutch, there is shaking present during shut off. :/

In Poland I got a new genuine original Pierburg turbo valve for 170 PLN which is just about 40 EUR :)

Nice! Here in Portugal everuth is very expensive, a lot of taxes

Hey Bruno can you tell me if a vacuum of -0,55 bar at the turbo actuator at idle is still acceptable? I bought a new original Pierburg valve for my 1.9 jtd 115hp and it is just like that, with the old valve it was the same. The pump gives -0,93 bar, at the Pierburg valve there is -0,90 bar. On the "OUT" port of the valve there is just -0,55 bar, sometimes -0,57 bar, but never the full -0,60 bar. In the scantool it says the Pierburg valve is open at 75% at idle. And the turbo acts kind of funny, there is a 200-300 mbar overboost all across the board, if I give it full gas it spikes up to 2400-2500 mbar absolute pressure for a moment, then falls back to 1800-1900 mbar, then again rises to 2400-2500 and falls back again. No overboost errors and check engine lights, but I can feel the changes in acceleration, sometimes it produces black smoke. The VNT lever moves easily when I unhook the actuator and move it by hand.

Hello. The vacuum numbers check out. That symptom is usually a bad solenoid
@5Dale655 ай бұрын
Thanks Bruno. But it does the same on both solenoids I have. Can it also be a problem with the actuator itself? Like the spring inside weakened over the years?

@5Dale65 do you have corrosion in your country?
@5Dale655 ай бұрын
Yes there is plenty of salt on the streets in winter here in Poland :( Cars corrode pretty quickly, my Stilo already had to have it's rocker panels replaced (stupid expensive). Do you want to suggest that my actuator might have rusted through?
@alfaromeonoproblem5 ай бұрын
@5Dale65 do a quick vacuum realise to check for that.

Hey, few days ago i write a comment with whining sound from brake pedal that was propably coused by brake booster leak, but some times when i shoot of engine it seems like problem with intake valve, when whole engine get earthquake like on video. Can it coused by leak in brake booster? Before this vid i think it was a normal that it shakes like this :D

Hi, Would you be able assist me with timing specs for a 2014 Giulietta 1750 TBI. Vehicle has compression, fuel, oil and spark, but isn't starting. I've tried to set the timing with the locking tool, but it still seems off
@alfaromeonoproblem5 ай бұрын
Hello. I do not have a video for that yet, your have to have the special tools
