Over the years, not many Noisia tracks have been remixed. But now, with Noisia’s ending nearby, we want to give our 20 year catalog to as many producers as possible. Allowing the music to echo one more time and to hear the resonance of our work. Hence the name.
The fifth edition of The Resonance includes remixes by Annix, Icicle, Tsuruda, Fade Black, Euph, Dez, Bensley, Skynet, HØST, Kasra, Molecular, Billain, Moytra, Former and Sorza.

Noisia, do you remember a few years back when people were chosen for a one-way trip to Mars, and somebody asked you to give one of them your music, so you would be preserved if the earth was destroyed? Well, it seems that music will now be preserved under the Svalbard seed vault. Can you guys find out how to have your entire works preserved there? Look, i know you guys are very humble, and you didn't know what to say to the guy who asked you about it last time, but this time is different. We are facing Doomsday now, and when you were originally asked, the world was safe and secure. It was said once, and it will be repeated here. If any other DnB outfit was worth preserving, their fans would have suggested this to them. Nobody else was asked last time, and nobody else is being asked this time. You guys are the only crew that have ever been approached like this. Please consider submitting your works to the caretakers of the Svalbard music vault. I can't do it myself.

This series so far has been such a needless thing. People don't wanna hear the truth, and I'm not a hater by no means, but when you ask people to remix a track, they tend to give very hollow stuff, in contrast to someone doing it by their own intentions. It's been five of these already, and I can barely remember 2 or 3 actually good and justified remixes.

honestly it's just your opinion man. It's a great mean to give visibility to producers in the scene both new and old, i can only see positive effects coming out of these LPs. It's also a dream come true for many passionate producers being able to remix Noisia. There are so many good and refreshing remixes, for exemple Billain, Former, Imanu, Buunshin, Gyrofield, Nitepunk and the list goes on for me. That said of course it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea. Saying these compilations are needles and that "people don't wanna hear the truth" is just plain stupid and close minded though. Peace ✌️

I sincerely hope that people listening to these tracks go and search more from each artist, sure. @@doyouthinkmyusernameistoolong the thing is it's not because it's supposed to give visibility to young producers that we're supposed to like everything they provide? sure, it's a great opportunity for them and all but to be honest, most of the remixes are pretty...bland and bring nothing new to the table in my humble opinion. i may sound harsh but that's what i felt since two or three of these resonance compilations ☹️
