The trauma part is so very true. I realize loud noises make me immediately go into fight or flight due to my traumas and feeling unsafe. Exactly like you said. It’s very Hard to control myself in those moments.

Dealing with a very very bad neighbors situation, right near the wall where I sleep, for straight 20-21 hours, yes, the guy sleeps for just 2-3 hours and is pounding the furniture day in n day out, absolutely nothing else to do, drilling and hammer 🔨noises the whole day!! Phew! Even exhausted just writing to you about it, it's started during covid n is going on for 2 years now Really really hoping ur videos help me change my mindset as this demonic neighbor will not change after repeatedly asking him to stop even tried being cordial n polite, but NO that didn't help at all!!! Feeling like a push over in trying to resolve the situation Just fed up n this is my place, bought years ago n just can't afford it to leave, they recently moved in after covid n it's been hell since 2+ years now Feel helpless anxiety n depressed, hoping ur videos help, n subscribed to ur channel❤ Congratulations on ur sobriety journey ❤🤗💯

I'mmive every 6months, I don't have money for a house. I've purchased an individual fan and it is my best coping method.

I feel stuck but here’s why! I got a neighbor that thinks she has the right to have as many parties as she wants! She lives in a 7 unit apt building with a shared driveway. One time we asked her to turn down the music which was outside facing my house. She started hollering about she wants to have fun! The building tenants don’t complain at all. The other neighbors don’t say nothing let alone call the police. Even when another tenant got bite from a dog from her that she wasn’t supposed to have. The management co says their hands are tied unless I call the police. When I do they don’t come! Plus I have a non confrontational husband that almost never says nothing, only complains to me! Last layer. It’s the neighbor from Hells sister that’s doing too much. The family moved 10 or 20 years ago! Management co allowed this ex crack head to move in. She did ok for awhile but now it is escalating big time. This has been decades of Hell! I know I could sell but with home prices and property taxes!!! Too much right?

Everything you are went through with the neighbours the same thing I went with it was a big trigger from me and all my childhood trauma. The body definitely keeps the scores

My answer, at 56, was to finally decide to just buy a house. I've been resisting it for so long, because I was previously just being sort of a nomad, moving anywhere in the country I wanted to, living in apartments.. this maintained a sort of, I'll work or quit when I want to, no biggie. With a mortgage, this means I need to not quit jobs anymore, and spend less time on tv, so my quiet mind can attract business ideas. But the thing is, I can **still** get a noisy neighbor.. however, the aspect of the emotional challenge over having to do the energy medicine every time you run into someone new that's loud ( I've been doing eft, sedona, for a while, and other modalities ).. is lessened, because now I've already done the maximum I can do in the outside world, i.e. getting a house. Now, there's no sense of control issues, where i'm self-hating my situation, because I've done my best in the outer world. For people that say they can't afford it, you can. You must may need to move into another part of the country. I'd rather live in L.A. where I'm from and have family, but now I'm in Idaho.. and well, I don't need the L.A. entertainment. Just need a female population in the town for dating, internet, netflix, my workout room, and my books. And that would still be the case if I'm 36 and not 56. Love your channel by the way. This is the right approach to teach people. Feel your shit. Another modality is "The Spellbreak Method" by Brian Ridgeway. it's along the same lines, diving right into the feeling.

Omg, thank goodness for your channel. Do you have any suggestions on what to do when neighbors coming towards you & just like always staring like every time as if waiting for a hello as if I have free time to chat all day... Any helpful tips will be great. I just moved & don't feel a need to be all buddy buds with any of my neighbors.

Maybe you could try to pretend you’re on the phone. After a couple times, they should get the hint that you don’t want to talk to them.

I would watch more of these videos...a big part of what I teach is we can't actually control other people. We can advocate for ourselves and speak our truths, but after that we have to find ways to deal regardless of what others do or don't do. It's a practice, for sure! 💖

I relate to every single thing you are saying. Here it is excessive construction by all 4 beside and directly in front for over a year, those horrible machines that are so high frequency...its immediate anger when they start and it goes from 7a to 6pm AMD work g from home in virtual events and I am having so much trouble. The hoa Wont help, I put my music to cover it and I get complained on. It's super stress high anxiety and I want to hurt them it's so hard

I’m am getting better and coping better, with the noises, drilling, big bangs, that’s becoming normal, it’s his darts 🎯 playing, I know what times he plays and I work around him, don’t realise how loud it really is, so I keep myself busy when he plays, it’s only for 15 minutes but I think I can tolerate it, I write every thing down & times, So I decided to get sleep mask to drown the footsteps and seems to work & play music by blue tooth and listen to music or audio, which helps calm my mind
