Instead of a runestone of emptiness you could probably get away with using telekinetic kick to get the die back quickly after rolling a one.

What happens if you pick up a dice of greed and then turn off greed mode? do you keep the Greed dice or does it instead turn back into a chaos dice?

It stays as a Greed Die. If there's a Chaos Die that you've already seen/spawned, it will NOT turn into a Greed Die after triggering the Curse of Greed, though. i.e. once the item is spawned, it stays as that item.

So, I was playing around, and I found something I don't recall seeing you go over? Right at the boundary between the mainland and the Desert, just to the right of the fish lake, if you dig down, there is a large stone circle carved into what seem to be massive bricks, and scribbled on the brickwork just to the right of it is what appears to be some sort of celestial map? Have you ever covered this? Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

That’s actually just the repeating background texture of the sand chasm area. The same symbols repeat for the entire, large biome. It depicts Kolmi and some other symbols pertaining to the lore, but it’s not a secret or anything. There are a lot of similar things around, such as the Master Wizard iconography in the Temple of the Art area. I do have a lot more that I haven’t covered - coming soon. I’ll be grinding trying to finish another 7 or 8 videos soon.

Noita is a special interest of mine but I can't really wrap my head around the way spells interact with each other so I can't really build wands, which is kind of a requirement. Your videos are a godsend, and I look forward to those videos! I'm genuinely shocked you haven't been immortalized in the game as its official Scholar considering how much work you've put into doing all this.

Hey, I found a seed with a great treasure chest on stage 3! Not sure if great treasure chests are considered boring at this point but from what I can remember it has extra health, gold, flasks of sodium and something fungus related, and most importantly a water stone. It also has some pretty good perks and spells in the first few holy mountains. I'll update this comment with the seed when I find the post-it I wrote it on! This was a few days ago so I can't remember that well but I'm fairly certain that the great treasure chest was on the left side of the snowy depths. A hiisi explosion actually broke it before I saw it on screen but I know it was a great treasure chest from the water stone. Watch out for the sodium though, I killed myself with it while trying to figure out what it did in the next holy mountain

Serious Question! Could you potentially find a greed die out in the world? I have been having difficulties getting one from a chest. Also I still end up getting normal die if I am far away from the curse, its very frustrating...Any solutions?

It might be a little buggy right now because first they made it so that you had to break the crystals in the HMs to keep the curse and then they reverted that change. It's *supposed* to keep following you no matter where you go and then every single die that you run across is supposed to then be a Greed Die instead of a Chaos Die. However, if you already spawn them in (i.e. if that part of the world is already loaded in memory) then they won't magically turn into Greed Dice. So, basically, I'm not sure exactly how much of the Mines are in memory when starting a new run and grabbing the curse, but any Dice that are at the top of the Mines at least will be loaded already. Oh, also, keep in mind (VERY IMPORTANTLY!) that they only exist in the beta branch of the game right now! They literally were JUST added last week, so they aren't in the main/release branch yet, which hasn't updated in a long time!! The next main update is going to be gigantic though.

@@FuryForged HEY So I finally got a greed die (Which after the first roll gave me gravity fields go figure lol) but I found a great way to farm greed dies, especially if you stream. So one of the rolls on the stream events is called loot! which can cause it to drop a chest where you stand. Now if you sacrifice this chest you get raining chests all over the place which gives you a STRONG chance to spawn a greed die.

If you see the two bowls with an empty potion in the mines, take the empty potion and fill It with the oil from the right bowl. Then empty the oil into the left bowl to get a wand that looks like the staff of regrowth from terraria. If you don’t see the bowls, look out for a white potion, because empty bottles are bright white and not clear. Also naturally spawning gunpowder potions will cause explosions when you spray it. Empty boxes, when filled with gunpowder, will not explode it when you spray it.

I kinda hate that so much effort is put into a secret item found via RNG in a hidden hard mode that isn’t even useful 95% of the time. Super neat, but guess I’ll never ever use or see it. No way am I fishing multiple greed runs for it just to see it.

Treat it like a survival game with only 1 life. You need to conserve as much HP as possible: - to do that, spray yourself with water constantly in order to make yourself fire resistant. And make sure to wash off any toxic sludge as soon as possible. Having a flask of water is a pretty vital survival tool, so if you don't spawn with one, make sure you get one asap. - learn enemy attacks and learn to dodge them vertically. You can bait them to attack low and then you jump/levitate over the attack. Stamina conservation in other games (like Dark Souls) is levitation energy conservation in this game. Always know how much levitation energy you have left and try not to use it up and fall in the middle of a bunch of enemies. The game is hard and there is a TON of information that you learn in order to increase your chances of survival. These are just two tips. I've got a lot of tips in this playlist. Some of them no longer apply, but the vast majority still hold true. Have fun!

@@mmohler919 Try looking into Goki's spell lab. It's a great hands-on tutorial that gives you many challenges and some hints on how to achieve them, with very clear descriptions of some of the basic mechanics behind wand building. I've been watching people play Noita at high levels for over a year, and that spell lab showed me some really powerful principles I'd never heard about before. The only downside for a beginner is that it only lets you use spells that you have unlocked, so some of the challenges will be locked until you get the required spell in a game. That said, you're guaranteed to learn some powerful techniques even with the basic starting spells.
