Chasy has a secret 4th wall breaking attack that players usually don't see. If you hit him with a wand that casts any spell with trigger into a personal gravity field + any plasma then Chasy bypasses you're character and goes straight for your CPU.

Well, it's not customary to talk about it, but.. Thanks to "Barmo" who demonstrated this strategy several times (in the official Noita ds server) and thanks to him for the guide in the steam. Thanks you FuryForged for the video demonstration of this "bug" (the work of berserkium). I tried to find out why it works this way, but in order to find out the secrets of berserkium, you need to h*ck the game (because nothing is written in the hidden data files). The Patsas statue has a similar interaction if you drink berserkium.

@@LaughingDepressedas another noob who knows these mechanics atleast decently (and makes use of holy mountain escaping sometimes, but not usually cause i'll die anyways) the real skill you need to learn is to avoid damage and to NOT DIE. I've had so many good runs where i risked it and died. also wand crafting doesn't matter if you don't have anything to CRAFT WITH. It's not like i have homing, double spell, chainsaw, or any projectile damage modifiers lying around. And ESPECIALLY not "add mana".

@@mishagaming1075 Learning to not take damage is just core mechanics of most games which will be learned through just playing the game so thats obvious and doesnt feel like it needs to be stated. Not all spell crafting requires the best of the best. You can still make decent wands if you understand the ins and outs of the game. I dont know why your replying to me like i should tell the homie that they needs to stop taking damage 😂I'm just telling some helpful tips and they will do the rest with that as they please.

Usually go with any plasma on triger and let the boss loop it. Not really from the start but most of the time I find these in coal mines.

Very important! Make sure to kill any enemies that spawned in the ceiling of the arena or the boss will dig up and shoot you from above. This has happened to me multiple times now.

I assume that Berserkium makes you count as a Enemy, and thus makes you spells harm you, rather then changing your spells to effect you?

It pretty much does, which can be seen from how many of the rare friendly creatures in the game will attack you if you have the Berserkium status. Although, I suspect the self damage on spells is a seperate property of Berserkium, and not a direct consequence of the 'becoming an enemy' part.

When I do this I recommend having its pathfinding spot me hugged at the cliff just past the end of the bridge. Lets me set up my Berserk pool on the other side of the orb, and you can arc Energy Sphere or Disc Projectile from that position without having to leave your position. Only downside is if you're looking to get Mato/ Meteorisade. they will always fall all the way down from my position

It does and you can, but you'd have to contend with the boss's spreadshot of polymorph, blinding, teleport debuff bolts.

Interesting! I personally don't find killing this boss particularly lucrative most of the time, compared to going to to Wand Mart. The number of times I've gotten mediocre or useless wands from this guy is criminal for how strong he is. Good content and information though!

for exa mple use Personal Gravity Field on him if you find such spell, and it will keep shooting itself to death + you keep shooting him at the same time. This strategy is still dangerous cuz his projectiles sometimes can still reach you

Spells to power. In general, hit it with large meaty attacks. Rapid attacks don't do much due to his defense mechanics giving him a huge increase any time he takes damage for the next few seconds. Honestly, if you're good, just a wand with a few magic missiles and teleport bolt for dodging can win. That is probably the 'fairest' way to beat him. Granted, if a fight is fair, your tactics suck. ;3

I think the intended way is to do big damage with a single projectile. Note that a spark bolt trigger with something like a chainsaw attached to it won't work; the spark bolt will hit the boss, but then he puts up his shield immediately aftwerwards and won't take any damage from the rest of the payload. You can massively increase the damage of a single projectile by using spells to power or heavy shot, or (my favorite) use an accelerating bouncing burst with rotate towards.

a "legit" way to do it is big damage in one shot or a few shots (although i suppose any way is legit if you think about it however i have also seen people use normal or giga disc proj (slice damage deals X1 compared to proj x0.3) and were good at hitting him and dodging his attacks so you could try that too i guess

@AliasGaming has good strats - basically getting the boss to copy an area damage projectile (death cross, horizontal/vertical, plasma beam, etc). And you want it from a distance - like putting it in a few hollow eggs on the bridge, or at least using a trigger. Area damage bypasses any shields and also cooks him fast! Bring ambrosia, and ideally black holes to dig a path to kite him around the 'B' trigger corner.

Not a terrible starting strategy. Personally I like to go get sea of mimicium if I’m gonna do a long starting strat. Maybe go buy a Greek letter from sneaking into a sky shop after getting gold using the tannerkivi. Of course all that needs a tele bolt of some sort but trying to get a good run going without teles sucks just cause of how long moving around the world takes.

He's afraid. All he knows is in one specific direction, just out of the range of his awareness, there's a very small entity who's more angry than anyone has ever been, and is screaming obscenities in an unending torrent.

I think the general consensus is that berzerkium flags you as the same faction as CoW, so, it can't find you. The patsas (statue enemies in the alchemy lab) have the same interaction.

This method is good and all, but it takes just unforgivable amount of time. Its way easier to just find a giga disc and kill him with that in 1-1,5 min.

i dont know if anyone has discovered this @furyforged , but i have just realized that when you use cast rock, with a timer spell (in this case i did spitterbolt with timer) apparently the lava inside of the lava lake just started dissapearing, i think it might be a physics bug where it overwrites the lava until the spell cast stops because you have to constantly keep casting the rocks (i had unlimited spells) but the alchemist boss could also be used for this. let me know if you have seen this i dont know if im the first.

Yup. The rock spell alone (and any physics body) will displace liquids. You can use just rocks, for example, to make a safe “arena” in the lake to fight the leviathan without breathless.

I always build myself a Hugmaster. It's a fast wand with: lumidrill, tripple spell, tentacle, digging blast and chaotic path + faster projectiles perk (speed up should work as well). More projectile speed makes the tentacle travel much farther. I try to keep the fight as short as possible by applying a ton of damage in a very short time. He always counters with a ton of spells as well, so i hit+kill him at the edge of the screen and keep a safe distance.

I cant seem to get this strat working. I try to do everything in the order you say, Fury, but every time I've done it (3 times so far), the bridge boss just uses his matter eater thing _at_ the bridge and then just kills me before i can get to my pool of berserkium, or he just ignores me completely and flies off the the top right off-screen... He doesn't even do that blue spread shot attack, he just goes straight for the matter eater...

Are there any other enemies nearby? That can definitely mess this up. You want it to be just you and the boss. Keep in mind also that you NEED to remain under the effects of berserkium the entire time, or else the boss will immediately regain its senses and move to your location. A few other people have had this issue.

t's easy to just use a small teleport bolt to get around fighting him completely. Hell, if you start with acceleratium, you can do that, too. But fighting him for the wands is pretty much always worth it for how strong of a start it is.

Is there any legit ways to kill it and feel the achievement deserved? Like i'm not about to cheese it but when i try to figure it out by myself i just fuck up and fell sad for shooting my own leg. Same with alchemist

There's not really a "legit" way to kill any boss. Every time you'll prefer to have a wand designed specifically to one-shot the boss you want to kill. As... if you're not the one to one-shot the boss, it'll often be the boss that one-shot you. Bosses each have gimmicks, in many cases it will be that they're weak to very specific damage type/need special condition to be hit... and given how hard it is to simply get a shot at them and easy it is to fuck up... you'll probably prefer to simply refer to the wiki.
