Set up the Nokia 105 yesterday. So far it works. Bought it for work since it does not have a camera. Will be test driving it tomorrow. Feeling positive!! I’m with Tello that attaches to the T-Mobile towers.

Bought a Nokia 110 4G. Extreme plastic feeling but overall it fits the needs. Gave back the 8210, in the end i used it the same way as the 110 😅

@@meibubbletea i think the 8210 has a better display and has Bluetooth, and photo flash I think. aside from that not that much of a difference overall for the functions it has. Note: both charge with micro USB, so no USB type C.

I purchased the 4G version of the 105 for my mother for an absolute steal at £11.49 (Around $11 USD) Unlike the 2G version, it stores 500 texts and has 4G LTE calling for clear calls and comes with a browser and a Facebook app.

I tried out various newer HMD-produced Nokias, and I really hated the cheap plastic feel. Even my Nokia 105 from 2015 (made by Microsoft) feels sturdier despite it runs on Series 30+ (based on MediaTek MAUI).

i agree. I just bought the 110 4g 2023 model , supposed to be a premium dumphone experience , and it literally feels like a lightweight cheap toy. even though it does have everything i need.

The phone is good,only i have small issues which with it I can't recommend it to anyone. "While making call,it doesn't sound to alert me that the call i was making is about to enter" I will just keep holding it in my hand for me to realize if the call i was trying to make is been forwarded or not.😠 Pls is that any way to make it better?

Thanks for the nice review! I can agree on most of your points but must say that I cant really concur regarding the call quality. I am from Germany and just bought this phone today to have a transitional phone until i'll get the light phone 3. The call quality of the nokia is so poor, at least on my end, that I have huge problems understanding the person on the other side, even in closed rooms. Other people hear me quite well though. I think its just the ear speakers of the Nokia that are really cheap and bad. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone because of that, even if its just 20€ here.

Great Video.. but there are 2 versions of the phone .. 2g and 4g .. maybe they scrubbed toe browser on the 2g version because 2g intenret is already shut down in europe.. only 2g calls and text are still possible..

Thanks for this nice review. You say "it doesn't work well here in the united states". Do you mean the signal strength is weak or you mean it's not compatible at all with US service providers? If it works, did you try it on T-Mobile like the 2019 version?

Hi Jose, as a user I have a LOT of trouble finding an information so maybe a specialized content creator could help me. I would like to get a dumbphone for my daughter that has a "conversations" UI for the text messages (meaning regrouped by contact/number like on our smartphones). Currently she has another Nokia with a similar OS as the one on your vidéo, with each text message separated individually. Would you have a model to recommend, or tips on how to get this information about phones ? I can't find it online and retailers in physical stores are usually no help. Thanks !

You need a KaiOS device from Nokia or something with Android OS. Something like the TCL Flip 2 could be good enough. Try the dumbphonefinder.com and select group text messages (yes). That should give you a list of phones that can do text messages in a conversations way.

I recently bought and set up a Nokia 150 for my dad. The quality just isn’t there anymore, sharp edges, the keypad feels awful and even without many features the software is sluggish. Not better than the generic Chinese phones you find online, just with a brand name attached to increase the price.
