The 3310 was the phone that I always wanted when I was a child but I could never have it. My father had one and it drove me crazy that the phone I wanted so much was always close to me. He let me use it for snake of course. Then I got the 3410 and all was right with the world. But the 3310 still haunted me until I bought one last year. The child inside exploded with happiness.

I am disappointed they didn't put all the modern WCDMA (3G) network on it. Many countries are reducing GSM coverage (2G). 2 years ago I desperately had to hunt for the last few Nokia feature phone with 3G network eg( 515, 301) for my parents. They still wanted phone with buttons. They travel a lot and found their old 2G phone were not getting network or very weak signals in many places they visit, while others with modern phone works just fine.

The 3310 was my first phone. Believe it or not, the reason I got it was because it was originally my mother's phone and she switched to another of Nokia's offerings after the LCD panel broke. Yes, that's right, our 3310 actually cracked... though it was just a portion of the screen so it hardly counts. Still, it was my first ever phone, and I absolutely loved it! The quintessential handheld mobile phone, an icon for a generation indeed, the classic 3310 lives on in the hearts of many to this day.

The most 'perfect' Nokia I recall owning was that small candybar 6230. I still miss that phone today. Todays smartphones do more but what was lost when the smartphone revolution took hold was the idea of being able to use your phone without having to be so visually engaged with it to use it. You could feel for the button, voice dial, assign functions to buttons. The call clarity was awesome, the battery life on standby was stellar, talk time was days worth. It was functional and ergonomic perfection that you could tuck away easily. They should do an evolutionary release on that model with the updated wireless/cellular standards. Heck, I also still have my "in near pristine condition", E90 which was kind of like the 6230 on steroids enroute to the smartphone phase. The last of non-touch screen warriors! Still fires up and works, only the modern cellular network GSM standards have moved on. . .

+Devonian While I've never held a new 3310, I would assume they are reasonably durable. A light "cheap feeling" plastic phone will absorb drops far better than an aluminum phone. As long as they designed it decently and used a half decent plastic, it should be relatively durable.

I used to own 3210. First mobile phone without an antenna. People said it gave you cancer and there was some research to be done on it. 3210 was even heavier and tougher than 3310. I loved it. My mum dropped it in the toiled while I wasn't at home :) I then bought a 6510. The tiniest phone I've ever owned.

I remember the old Nokia phones as a young truck driver , On the odd occasion the phone would fall out of my shirt pocket while getting in or out of the cab , The the little Nokia would take 6+ foot fall and go to pieces, I pick up the pieces and snap it back together , hit the on button and it would fire up again no problems looking a tad battered but still working . I was so happy to see this and nostalgic also . Yes it really is amazing how much things have changed since 1999 when I first got my Nokia 3310 . I do miss using it and I will buy one for backup and because of the good memories it brings back . I still have 3 Nokia 3310s in my collection back home and gues what ? They work just like in the first day .

I had to dust out my Sony Ericsson Z600 clamshell phone a few weeks ago whilst my iPhone 6 had to go in for repairs. Definitely brought me be back to the days of nostalgia. Sure it was a bulky clamshell phone but to me it was the best phone I have owned.

Loved this!!! Not because I really want a 2017 Nokia 3310 but because I really enjoyed the voice that made me subscribe to PN. Even back in the day, I gravitated to the phones that had the sliders that slid out in landscape with a full QWERTY keyboard. If someone brought one of those back with a decent camera, I'd be all in.

I think this will sell quite well. I've seen people travelling towards far away places for picnic, work or just getting away from civilization, they will be carrying something like this phone for emergency cases. Long battery life, simplicity and excellent call quality of Nokia phones will make this a winner.

This is not just nostalgia phone. This phone has huge possible uses. I myself will most likely buy it as my second phone. Its small, battery life is huge and after all its a phone. Used to call or message. Also this phone is good for traveling or camping or going to work, where you dont want to bring the best phone like samsung s7 and to get it stolen or whatever. Also during traveling you dont want to charge your phone all the time. So this phone has enormous amount of uses. Also buying simple,cheap and small phone for little kids so they can call you anytime without worrying of the phone losing battery because kids will play games all the time is really good. My parents will most likely go back to these phones, and drop smartphones for sure. This phone is what phone is for. Its not a gameboy or stupid brand (apple) accessory for girls to show in pictures to show status and stuff. This phone is super reliable, with extremely long battery life which is used only as a phone, that is to call or text.
