Nokia 3330 (2001) - phone review

I was 10 years old when I had received one in 2001. My parents bought one for my older sister and me. I thought it was an amazing to have one.

If you hold the middle button with the blue line does it not bring up the voice thing where you say a name in your contacts and it dials? It was some button. But can't remember.

Yes, there's the exact same ringtone composer in this one. If you wanna get the 3330 instead of the 3310, feel free to do so - there isn't a single 3310 feature that the 3330 would be missing, so you needn't worry about it.

Cheers! It’s just a link to w@p. You select it, it starts dialling, and fails, because the service has been down for many long years. But back in the days, it’d open a page where you could download additional levels to the built-in games, like different tables for Bumper, or worlds for Space Impact.

Those are unofficial modifications, however. Officially the phone only sold with the green backlight shown in the video.

This particular one doesn't have a speakerphone. There's no actual loudspeaker in it.

I see what you did there! 😀 Nah, stories of these phones’ durability are rather exaggerated. The plastic shells were in fact relatively brittle; they weren’t too difficult to destroy.
