Omg this phone brings back so many memories. I remember I order this phone through the phone with t mobile and she gave me the tracking number and I was anxiously awaiting it’s arrival lol . The day of its “out for delivery” I remember it was pouring like crazy , so I hoping the ups man was still gonna b doing his runs lol 😂 then I saw the truck pull up and ran to the door lol 😆 . He looked at me and said “ another new phone? I would order so many phones back then . He knew me already hee he’s “ I laughed and yes ohh yes 🙌 I was more excited with the phones back then , then now🤷🏻‍♀️

First of all a very humble thanks to the uploader for such an in-depth review of the phone i got the phone few weeks back and it seems to be great , not to mention its 3g capabilities are outstanding ! however it doesn't HAVE Wi-fi !!! but what impressed me was its video quality its AMAZING ! i would also refer viewers to buy THIS PHONE !!!

im planning on buying this phone and this helped me want it more. Im not very concerned with no wifi cause im getting this for the calling,text,the fact its touchscreen,and the free gps. Plus i have the newest ipod touchso if i need to go on wifi or internet ill just use my ipod. I cant wait to buy this phone.

I just bought this phone today from RadioShack and I love it. It has everything I was looking for and the touch screen is great although it does take a little getting used to. This is my first cell phone, and I'm really happy with it, it has a great camera/video quality and I would recomend it to anyone.

Things that are awesome. 1) it has bluetooth for syncing, 3g etc. 2) Simbian OS is really good with tons of great and free apps including a youtube widget and opera browser 3) you can tether it with software easily. 4) movies play good 5) recording vid is great. 5) it has standard earphone jack. 6) has free ovi maps for gps 7)it is a good solid size touch screen. 8)it has facebook,sms, mail. widgets IM. 9) great customization 10) just so many little perks that make it awesome

For about 100 euros that's a lot of smart phone! I actually didn't think it would be as good as it seems in this video. I bought N8 but I think this is a great choice for a person who wants a smart phone cheap. The video recording quality was the most impressive thing!

@rafimo difference between this phone and 5800: 5800 has a second camera, 5800 has 81 mb installed memory 5230 has 70 mb. 5800 comes with a 8gb memory card 5230 with a 2gb card. Primary camera on 5800 is 3.15 mp and has flash, on this phone it's 2 mp and no flash. 5800 has tv out, this doesn't. 5800 is older and more expensive. For those minor differences I'ld get a 5230. The videocamera quality is really good. Great apps to be installed are found all over the net and the ovi store.

@imapcstephen mp4 is a container. It can contain many different formats that do not support the phone. best thing to do is get something like DVDfab or other standard converter that specializes in iphone/ipod conversion and just set it to convert to that format. I managed to convert a few videos that way in order to get it to work.

I have the phone, and it is an awesome phone for the money. If people are stupid enough to try and compare the nuron with an Iphone, then obviously the nuron can't compete, but hell we are talking a $100 for a smartphone .I have no problem with the touchscreen interface. Simply put, it's a great phone.

Also when you go to turn your screen sideways to text especially, it sometimes lags there as well. One of the biggest factors that irritated me with the phone was the fact that the battery lasts about a day and a half maybe 2 days dependin on how much you use it. The 3rd day I had it, I sent less than 10 texts and only used the alarm and the phone had charged all night and I only had 1 bar of battery life by 12-1 pm and I unplugged the phone from the charger around 8am

it loaded websites slow because if you noticed under the signal strength indicator it was on the edge network, not 3G

The phone that is t mobile branded supports tmobile USA's unique 3g bandwidth. The unbranded one may not support this unique 3g and only international 3g. Also there is USA version for AT&T that doesn not support tmobile 3g. You can see the unlocked version at dell site. This one won't work with tmobile 3g...

@EcBuddy123 I know. I was at a tmobile store a few hours ago and their nuron display model had 2 zip ties around the phone. I thought they were there because someone broke the keyboard and after finding out it doesnt have a keyboard, now I know the zip ties were there so people wouldnt try to break the phone looking for the keyboard.

@JessicaDollFacee no wifi means you can't access wifi hotspots like say at a coffee shop. but that is no problem, because this phone does support 3g, so you can get a 3g plan and still have high speed internet anywhere. also you can just use the EDGE and opera mini browser and enjoy decent internet speeds like I am doing. But no youtube video streaming then.

@CarmenUR2cute2 Also, if you've never had a smartphone before - THIS IS THE WAY TO GO! I have an iPhone 3gs aswell but using this phone didn't make me feel all that different (aside from a major difference like not having WIFI). It's a REALLY good smartphone, its running Nokia's S60 OS, the only complaint i've honestly had were NO WIFI and since I'm on a text-frenzy, i found the onscreen virtual QWERTY keyboard to be hard to use when constantly sending texts.

@wut6 Its a good phone, I bought it, but wifi is a feature I would have liked. Although for what I paid I can't really complain. I suggested the 5800 as its basically the same phone, but with wifi.

This phone, along with the 5800 feel so cheap and look it too. When I had my 5800xm I found after a few months it just slugged right down speed wise. Camera was alright if you had half decent lighting and I did like the slide lock, shame that broke too lol
