If you just purchased your phone (Nokia 7.1) make sure you get insurance or take it back and get the insurance, within less than 3 months you will most like have to take it in for repairs.

The vocabulary and terminology in reviews needs to depend entirely on the price of the phone. Words like "Decent" and "Okay" and "Not bad" are just inaccurate. Flagships of all kind are simply out of the equation for many people. I think reviewers should always compare the features and spec of a phone with its fellow peers. Instead of giving a general overview. That said, thank you for all the lovely content you keep putting out.

Nokia needs to improve their low-light camera quality. I've owned a Nokia 6 for almost two years now and that's one of my few complaints. Other than that, I've never loved a phone more! Good review too! :)

I got mine. It's great. Despite what the internet says, I've experienced good battery life. The only thing is that it's incredibly slippery! Like ridiculous! It slides off flat leather for goodness sake. Thankfully it's tough like a nokia should be. Mine fell (by sliding slowly) onto my tiled floor with no issue. Unfortunately some scuff marks on the bezel. So heed the warning.

@@ejpetewon2006 My batttery went flat recently (thank you for load shedding, Eskom). I plugged it in, it showed the Android One screen, then I left it. It fully charged, and then I had to switch it on.

@@zz5aa I'm not what you call a power user. I've had no speed issues though. Messaging, browsing, emails, photos, nothing has had a lag. I also scan multi-page documents with no issue (office lens FTW). It is what it is - don't expect miracles. It benchmarks about half as fast as iPhone 8.

I have a problem with my Nokia 7.1. It freezes when I open it up until I press the home button, then it freezes again, after pressing it a lot of times then it decides to not freeze. The lock screen doesn't freeze though.

ust a few weeks old i bought a nokia 7.1 and got an security update on 20 jan 2019 , i updated it but it wont restart, the phone gave me an option to try again or do factory reset so when i did the try again phone didnt start normallly, its in download mode

Wow. I was surprised when my charging port went bad back in 2019, after only owning the phone for 9 months. It was under warranty, but the warranty required me to totally wipe the phone (which I couldn’t do because it was dead and I had no way to charge it) and then send it overseas for 3-5 weeks… I’d say that’s a huge issue with the non Apple/Samsung phones, just the speed and quality of repair isn’t there. I never sent the phone in and ended up getting one final charge on it, and transferred all my data to an iPhone SE (2nd Gen) which worked 1000x better and that I used until I got the iPhone 13 mini I have now. Sorry Nokia… never again!

Witch fast charger do i need for this phone ? I’ve tried a Sony quick charger and my S7 charger but its not charge any faster. Takes 3-4 hours to charge with the charger in the box. Nokia care says the phone not support fast charge. But i’ve read so many reviews and watch so many youtube videos, and the most of the people says it support fast charge.

Just got the 7.1 new for $215 from Best Buy. I've been a Iphone user for years and currently also have the Iphone 7. The Iphone 7 is a very good phone but wanted to try out pure Android on the cheap. I have been pleasantly surprised by this phone, the Iphone 7 has some competition for my pocket!

If anyone is having the mic issue with third party chat apps due to the Android 10 update, the workaround is to disable Google permission to the microphone: Go to Settings>Apps & notifications>Google>Permissions>Microphone>Deny You have to sacrifice Google assistant voice in doing so though...

The Best part about Nokia phones is the Andriod One which guarantees Monthly Security Patches and OS Upgrades for at least 2 years. That is a MUST, as in the end you are paying for ANDRIOD! Xiaomi and other cheap Andriod devices are no way near the long-term satisfaction and security which is ABSOLUTELY must in today connected world.
