Major steps to get the most out of your new Nokia 7.2 1. Charge Phone to Full. ;P 2. Install a 128 to 256GB SD Card (optional but usefull!) 3. Set Up Phone, Do not Auto-download all your old apps why? it makes you think do you really want or use that app? also set all apps to save to Micro SD Card (Camera, Chrome, Facebook, Twitter!), Set up Auto Backup! 4. Run Software Update from settings for OS and Security updates! 5. Make sure Google Play is up to date by going into it then the menu and press on the about play store option! 6. Turn on Dev Mode and set all animations to .5x speed!

I just bought Nokia 7.2. This is really good phone, battery lasts all Day. And pure android, so no any useless apps you can't remove... And yes, HMD global is owner. BUT these nokia's are designed in Finland!! Like The good old nokia phones. I am a finnish and I wanted to try Nokia after a long time, and I am not disappointed

Man I'm glad I got an ad for the 7.2 on a KZbin video, cause it's exactly what I'm looking for. My OnePlus 3T is falling apart and the new 7T seems pretty lame, so I'm looking for something just like this to hold me over til the OnePlus 8 comes out. With the holiday season between now and then, a trip to Japan in November, and a little toddler growing up fast, I just need picture quality. I was looking at the 3a, a refurbished galaxy note 9 and the Xiaomi Xi 9T Pro. The 9T Pro has awesome specs and comparable features to flagships, but sketchy image quality. The other two are nice phones, but now I can get a current model phone in a price range I can justify, knowing I'm getting another phone early next year. It's like they built this phone for my exact situation.

I see what you mean. Having said that, I have a Nokia 7 Plus, which has a SD660, and it's the quickest phone I've ever had. It's also v smooth when scrolling, which is a real winner for me. Yes the processor"s a bit old, but it is just so good (imo). I've had it for a year, and it's still lightening-fast. Samsung's seem to slow their phones down (at least in my experience), but Nokia don't. So they might have better processors, but Nokias are smoother

Nokia seems to be relying on its brand name a lot without really competing and it may hurt them again. Why are we having SD 660 & 636 in the 7.2 & 6.2 that are supposed to be end of 2019 smartphones. The 2720 is unique today but the price is not compelling considering you'll only pay a little more for a much more capable Nokia 3.2 or save some cash and get the still more capable 2.2 I think the tiniest phone of the bunch is going to be the most capable for the money especially with support for MP3 and headphone jack. There are already existing feature phones that look like the battery champ in the review that are currently selling in some African markets like Nigeria with similar battery touting endurance and support for 2 - 3 Sims (those phones are common with handymen, mechanics and the likes in Nigeria) Nokia please try and compete on the price if you want to gain market share in emerging markets as the budget smartphone brands over there are really compelling value

@@TheXuton The issue there is that the US uses different frequency bands than most of the world. So if the radios in the flip phone aren't the appropriate bands, it's as good as a brick in the US.

If I were in the market for a new phone right now this would be my choice. I purchased the 7.1 at U.S. release and I couldn't be happier. Pixel 3a didn't come along to compete until several months later. I think the 7.2 offers a compelling alternative to the 3a despite the slightly inferior SoC and (likely inferior) camera.

Just bought a new Nokia 7.2 for my wife. I returned it the next day....Here is why. Constant freezing and constant reboots. Randomly rejected SanDisk memory card too. I tried resetting to factory full reset twice. It did not help. Also, rather odd, I tried the camera and it said memory was full??? It was brand new out the box phone. I have two Nokia 6.1's for myself and one of my son's. No issues with them. basically

It's awkward that so many phones, like the Moto G7+, skip the US market. I guess this is the era of the camera war. Nightsight is nice, but it's not worth an infinite amount. They're very similar to the pixel - 3/2: 3 years of security patches (which are increasingly featuring OS patches also) & 2 years of OS updates. Speaking for the Australian market - I opted for a Nokia 8.1 only a few months ago, as it's price of $550, far outweighed the near 1K for the Pixel 3 just for the 1 extra year of support. The extra bells n' whistles of the pixel aren't really necessary for me, the only thing that is a downside to the Nokia is the currently limited range of accessories, hoping this changes with popularity in time.
