Nice Video, Thanks for sharing. My C6 has a damaged Stereo Jack. The phone is still under warranty, but the warranty claim takes about 15 days. The authorized repair center, charges about 30 USCY for the repair without involving the warranty. I am considering doing the repair myself, your video is very useful.

First of all thank you, i dropped my c6-01 from 2nd floor.. And its screen was dead.. it was 3 months ago. I took it to local Nokia center, they said they cant do anything.. yesterday i watched your video accidentally. So i deiced to get those touch screen and display & i got it from online. Then i followed your steps.. now ?.. i am using my old C6-01 its works prefect.. but... when my c6 died i brought a N8.........

@LE55ONS today the replacement finally arrived and i managed to replace it with very little trouble. A couple of notes 1) i suggest the metal frame be put it before the buttons, as i managed to break one of tiny black stands 2) you didn't mention moving the proximity sensor. VERY VERY easy to do, but if you do not notice it immediatly you might end up throwing it away. 3) i do not know how you connected the digitizer cables so easy, must have taken me 15 mins. Firstly, let me thank you for your video, it is fantastic. My Nokia c6-01 screens were broken about 6 months ago. I purchased both screens and a speaker. I used your video to take it apart and put it back together, surprisingly to me the screen is working perfectly. Thank God.... I am able to make and receive calls, but the speaker is apparently not working as well as the menu button. Is there a video for these. Again thank you, you have a God given talent....

Thank you for your response, you are very helpful.... Yes the 'menu' key is working to bring up the unlock icon, like you said, but its not bringing up the menu list. Is there any possibility that you can please walk me through the re-installing of the Ovi Suite, I am not good at things like that and I will really appreciate it. Again Thank you. God Bless

@al3x277 Sounds like you might need to re-flow the solder joints on the micro usb socket. You'll need a very fine soldering iron and a steady hand. Try taking the motherboard to a local repair shop, I'm sure they wouldn't charge much to solder it for you....

check the charging socket at 9:20 , make sure those sprung contacts are sitting up high enough to touch the mainboard

Thank you for your reply, I tried but still does not charge...To be more precise, when the phone is turn off and I put the cable in the phone in order to charge it, first I hear a bip sound then the screen lights up and also the small white light near the socket but after a few second both turn off without the phone getting any charge. Now I can only charge my phone when I connect it to my laptop with the USB cable.

Btw. I think you forgot to mention one thing. When replacing a new digitizer with the frame it's needed to take that "rubber thing" shown 04:24 from old digitizer to the new one. Without this the ear/screen sensor won't work correctly. (Screen will turn black when calling)

Hello :) Thanks a lot for the video. I have for few months a little problem with the screws : they get out without help. It wasn't annoying until now (just a lower connectivoty but still working). My connectivity simply dissapeard for few hours. 3G and Wifi's are working fine. Could you help me ? Everything looks fine, just this connectivity which is absent... Firstly thanks for uploasding this video. Now my problem is that my phone got moist in rains and I fear some water might have entered in phone. I dried it using hair drier, now while I was drying it, I heated the back too much, will it damage my antenna. cause my phone ring well receives messages does other jobs nicely but only trouble is whenever it searches for Wi-Fi it reboots. and is unable to find any device. please comment on this matter

try a factory reset, if that doesn't work then you have a hardware problem that is not easy to fix. Is it only after replacing the screen?

hey the same happened to my phone after nokia belle update. i took the battery off. and and inserted the battery charged the phone without turning it on. after sometime turned on with the phone charging. it worked... try this. it might work!
