Remember getting my hands on a used one for 200$ in 2007/8. Kept it for 4 years before its display strip gave up. Not many phones had technical superiority over its rivals like this one had. It was my first phone with a WiFi and DVD-grade recording capability. Its a phone that is usable even today (although on the entry side). However this video is making me realize that Samsung and Apple has really pushed the barriers and have taken mobiles to the point where they actually got usable multimedia capabilities. I really doubt Nokia alone would have done that (although they tried their bit with Maemo/MeeGo).

I don't think that's possible. Nokia N95 8gb was released in the late 2007 and even the regular N95 wasn't available until 2007

I have one. Although the rubber like coating has deteriorated but it still works fine. Oh and the battery has definitely half life-ed. But in general all I can say is, even though it was expensive, but for it to still work today is really worth the money! You can’t find any phones with Carl Zeiss optics anymore.

Stop teasing me.. Got this mobile from PlanetM Mumbai.. Had a problem with the sliding mechanism.after some time.. got it repaired and moved to Samsung Bada.. first touchscreen mobile.. Still have it.. since not exchanged when moving to android.. But this N95 8GB made me feel like a KING !! Can any other mobile now make me feel that way?? NO !! Kamaal ka phone ta !!
