Gold Detecting looks like a fun thing to do. A lot of work goes into prospecting.. thank you for sharing ..

So how does the gold finder 2000 differ from the gold kruzer? which is better and why?
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
Great question. The gold Finder has fewer settings and is a turn on and go machine. The Kruzer has more settings and is built for relic hunting also the gold Finder does not have to be ground balanced. The Finder also does a better job at avoiding hot rocks also. Jake and myself tested these two machines the other day extensively and we both like the Finder better.

@@southernrelics Dang man. I just ordered the gold kruzer. I seen the gold finder but thought it was a older model. Jesus.

XP orx, nokta 2000 or gold monster 1000 which you recomend?
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
I’ve never used an ORX, but after doing some testing, the gold monster has a slight advantage over the Gold Finder.

@@southernrelics What's the advantage difference the goldmonster 1000 has over the goldfinder 2000. Have you tried this detector on heavy mineralization with hot rocks and if so how does it behave.....thanks
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
@@geosid1696 great question. The monster gives a wobble sound when it goes over gold that the gold Finder does not give. It is actually a really neat feature. The gold monster has to be ground balanced. The gold Finder auto ground balances when turned on. Hot rocks are still an issue with both detectors. Both unit perform very well, and I have seen both units find gold pickers and nuggets in Arizona.

I would love to have a dedicated Gold machine, but I think I need to really learn my simplex before getting another machine. I had to replace my old whites detector so I have not had my simplex a year yet. Still learning on it every week.
@southernrelics3 жыл бұрын
I love that Simplex. It’s a super awesome machine. Talking to one of the Nomads earlier they said they like the Simplex with that new 13 inch coil more than they like their Anfibio! That says a lot.

For some extra money you can get the nox 900 now with much better performance and much more settings.
@KernowekTim3 жыл бұрын
Yep, they make bigger DD's for this machine, They're the ones that fits the NM Gold-Kruzer 61 kHz, and are compatible, if you need depth THEY will significantly improve it.
@southernrelics3 жыл бұрын
Yes. I’m thinking of getting the bigger coils for it to have to take to Arizona for the Detector event out there in April.

That's a nice looking machine, but if you do more than gold prospecting with your detector, you would need a second one for finding relics and treasure. I wish nokta macro would make a multi frequency machine like the nox 800.
@southernrelics3 жыл бұрын
They are about to release their simultaneous multi frequency detector on the 19th. 10 am EST on line. There will be a lot more testing with this detector including a relic and coin hunt I did with it. It’s a surprisingly great detector all around.

That is NOT a speaker bag ( you can carry it in there ) but that my boy is a system box. The lcd box comes off and you carry it in there kind of like a Deus machine.. thats why there are 2 holes in the back for the cables to run into ... Go to the website and see for your self
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing this out. I will be doing some testing with the unit using this case soon. Have a great day.

I'm not a professional nugget shooter but, I think you are swinging that thing way to fast😄. When I see the pros looking for gold with a detecor they swing low and slow. Also does this machine have an adjustable threshold volume? I think it would be beneficial to listen to slight changes in the threshold.
@southernrelics3 жыл бұрын
I’ll have to slow down a little bit and do further testing. It does have a fast recovery speed though. It does not have the adjustable threshold volume. It’s a turn on and go self ground balancing detector.
