Hi Adam.I was out with the legend for the first time on Sunday,the fields were very wet and boggy,the legend was a little bit unstable at 30 sense on M2 so I switched to M3,what a difference it made.

It's great, isn't it? I noticed the volume tended to be a little lower on the targets but it still found them fine 😊

M1 is definitely stronger and deeper for general coin and relic hunting but M3 is more stable in wet conditions and still performs reasonably well - albeit with slightly fainter tones.

@@DTEKTSUSSEX can you run your machine with m1 on 30 sens and be stable? I have to go down to around 25 to calm down

You just need to set it for the environment. You'll get 30 sensitivity in some areas where interference, mineralisation etc. is absent. Most locations I use 25 as a default and put it up if I get a faint target.

Hello, have yet another question, I regularly detect down a nearby foreshore, there’s tonnes of big rocks and it’s usually quite wet. I was wondering if I’m using the right settings, could you tell me what settings you’d use for it? (There’s a lot of old things there so I wanna get some)

I'd probably start in Beach mode, MW, Custom discrimination pattern with 7 and below removed, 25 sensitivity, recovery 4, stability 4, IF 4, BC off, GS off. You may need to tweak this for your specific location.

Hit the ground balance button, then use the +/- keys to reduce the value to zero 👍

@@steammachine3061 lol, I live in the US so I don't find many. I always find it amusing that coins that weren't made that long ago can't be spent. Over here coins are always worth at least their face value, even if they're 200 years old.

Yes, until further notice. Coins always remain in circulation up to, and sometimes over, a decade after the change of monarch.

@Scouting For History its technically the same in the UK as well. Our old style pound coins can't be spent in shops anymore. But any bank will happily exchange them for current currency that is in circulation. I have an old 60s one pound note in my wallet I could still exchange at a bank. I mean technically you could take a gold sovereign to the bank and get face value for it if you were mad enough lol

Had to Google. I believe its barmah hats not mats. So its a tag from one of their hats. It seems to be a company or at least a hat that's still very much in business though as there's loads of examples from a quick Google. Even more interesting it appears to be the style of hat that crocodile Dundee wore. The tag was worn around the rim of a hat on a leather strap. Knowing is half the battle. Ps should have just watched the vid instead of pausing and then going on a Google research journey lol

It varies wildly. In this field I've found quite a few...probably 15 or more...and I've only covered a small part. The field right next to it has been covered completely twice and I only found a couple. Other fields there haven't had any.

Is ​​​the Legend now sold as standard with the SP30 coil and full carbon shaft?...I know Nokta made an announcement, but not sure of the date the new version is sold with new arm rest, full carbon shaft and, along with sp30 coil as mentioned. I'm currently only seeing sellers with the original offer, SP28 and lower carbon shaft.

Hi Jason, The new models are being produced right now and a few have started to ship. With worldwide logistics the way they are in recent years they will start appearing in different places at different times. Best bet is to contact your preferred shop and ask them to save you one when they come in 😊👍

Hi Adam I watch your videos on the legend as I use one my self but I'm on 2 tones at the mo but want to go to 6 tried 60 found it abit to much. I was just wondering where you set your tones and at what volume do you set them also what tone pitches do you use and what tone break you set I'm in Cornwall so quite mineralised ground also quite irony any help would be grateful. One last thing do you think the lg30 coil is better than stock and is the 1.11 upgrade worth doing have done it once but the audio didn't sound as good as 1.09 any helpful and keep the videos coming there a pleasure to watch 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hi Daryl! Thanks for the comment! Tones-wise I prefer 6 tone but I leave all the breaks, volumes etc. as default. I'd rather learn what the machine is telling me rather than trying to change it to suit me. The LG30 is definitely an upgrade from the stock coil. You get slightly more coverage, much better separation and it's a bit lighter too! 1.11 is 100% the best version to date. Make sure you donthe factory reset and remember that doing the reset will reset all your volume settings too. Hope that helps 😊👍
