I never used ground balance. I tried the 0 on the simplex on the beach and did not help me out at all. Thanks for sharing. I might try to ground balance the 700 just to mess around with more settings.. Peace

If you used zero ground balance in heavy iron in park one are it really does not matter you will be able to separate like a thousand dollar machine trust me the people with money don’t want to hear this because I find so many civil war stuff

I don't know about 0 ground balance I think you are losing depth, I seen a guy ground balance it in beach mode then switched it to park and he said it works best, that is why I bought my simplex for the Beach, I think I should have bought the Legend.

I use zero ground balance in heavy trash and iron sites I find very useful in picking out objects that have a potential of being a epic coin or deep union staff button as your moving most objects will sound bad but having it on zero balance make the good targets jump out at you sure sometimes I get those round perfect circle that is aluminum most the time I can tell but by the sound what fools me are the very deep targets that 99.9 end up being a circle top or aluminum but me and boy do mostly old field s and a few old amusement park s I usually use park 1 but I also used the 340 Vanquish a few years ago my son was working at Field and stream while going to college and with his 50 percent off I got some nice deal of a $150 and I found some really great items o remember I got a 18866 V nickel second highest I on that series only 1895 i is a better of the 2 with less then a million made. And survive in any shape just no bother saving any

I will try zero balance in that park I hunt because it’s very very trashy ppl are pigs at that park I mean there’s so many bottle caps and pull tabs there it ain’t funny

@@TreasureHuntingDetectiors if you are on a beach you see I live by Lake Erie so I don’t have a problem with the simplex but for you the 340 vanquish would be perfect for you the only 2 down side s are water and the use of cord head phones I will be honest with you I was hunting a old water park lake and I accidentally dropped my vanquish in a few feet of water I thought it was gone when I turned on the machine it would error and nothing would happen I got a little secret you can try this even with your phone and it really works great forget about that rice in a bag bull shit takes way too long like most of us we have a dehumidifier in our basement simply place your drowns object with the batteries out that is a must thing to do right away batteries will cause major damage and you will see let it run for as long as it takes but hopefully your not that tight guy that worries about electricity because it does pull some juice like a air conditioner lol but getting back to the vanquish veterinarians MD folks swear that the vanquish machine s have a special beach mode that’ it’s runs more stable then it’s older brother s 800 and the 600 and I don’t No about the newest machines don’t care to no way to much money for me and I am a Electrician and I certainly live comfortably at a salary close to 6 figures. Lol so for little more then $200 hundred dollars you can have a machine capable of running on a saltwater beach at $1000 machine can do so out of that till this helps. Good luck.

Stop buying this brand .I’m not sure the quality is not good or I’m just bad luck . Mine stop working after digging for 4 times . The worst thing is the poor after service. There is only one guy who’s in charge in the service. How and How long it’s going to be fixed all depending on his mood.Mine detector started not working in June . Until now July 28 it’s still not fixed.
