What setting was the nox in just curious?..Also would your simplex perform in a different mode in the area you were in even if not at max sensitivity for greater depth?..For example, park 1, 2, field?

The nox was in Beach 1mode on 23 Gain , FE on 6 ,F2 on 6 , speed on 6 , 5 Tone my friend. Simplex would definitely work at the Beaches in Beach Mode the best at this place and I tried it also in all other Modes and it was falsing on the signal it was basically picking up ground instead only the target, simplex performed well in my opinion on 11-in deep silver ring, the beaches in Northeast Florida are loaded with black sand I was surprised that Simplex would even beep on 11-in deep medium size silver ring I'm sure there is better settings to get a little bit more depth out of it but at 11-in in my opinion that was it's detection edge at this particular Beach only but most of the targets are in between 6 and 10 in depth anyways. I bought a simplex thinking it would be good for the beach after watching loads of KZbin videos. The nox is a completely different monster on the beach well worth the extra money especially if you are buying new coils etc for the simplex. I'm going to hold onto the simplex as it's a great machine for the money but if it's for the beach the nox multiple frequency is a must.

I have both! but Simplex is not working good on the beach! all the time is chirping! NOX is not really comparable with Simplex. This machine is only good for a dry side

@@alexametaldetector1402 Yes agree, glad I got the nox, the simplex is great to have but as seen in the video frustrating on the beach. The nox gives really clear signals and I'm amazed how small some of the items are it finds. Its silent on the wet sand. The only problem I've found is when on a stoney beach with wet sand underneath (beach run off, water draining back into the sea from the beach) with the stones an inch or two deep it falses on the water run off in the sand. If left for a while this does resolve, I guess its being given two different balance situations. I guess there could be a resolve for this but I've not found it yet. If its beaches its defo the nox.

Now if you were swinging the vanquish my lab it would pick it up every time and you don’t have to ground the vanquish and it would pick it up and wet sand or salt sand or the water every time the vanquish is a remarkable metal detector for the beach one of the best

You're trying to do a depth test on the Simplex with the sensitivity set one bar down from the top... Why? Run the sensitivity all the way up and ground balanced and it will be fine in the dry sand... different story then.

Equinox is definitely better it’s all mine lab just like the vanquish it’ll pick it up every time to very good equinox 800 and equinox 600 or real good on the beach in the water also they’re made by the same company vanquish is an excellent metal detector for the beach in the equinox and there is another one because they’re made by the same company they work great on the beach in my opinion I have the equinox 600 and I have the vanquish my lab for 40 and I love my 444 on the beach

Here we go again with pitting an entry level machine (simplex) $250 against an advanced level multi-freq..much higher in cost and options/features (Nox 800) $700...and then claim to have performed a fair test! Yeah ok fair if you dont see the scales tipped.

@@indianfishcutting465 simplex is the game changer...look what it did to the market before the legend was even announced. The legend may just be the cherry on top, we will see!!! I seen many vids with the simplex being under played by some ppl...i dont listen so much to their words as i watch their actions vary closely and spot mistakes weather intentional or not. I have yet to use my simplex at the beach to determine their legitimacy about it not being good there. I watch 1 vid of person bumping the coil in the sand claiming the machine was having problem but we know hitting the coil will make fake problems.
