The detector heads on both these detectors are the same. Their made by Detector Electronics's corp. Southborough, MA. They have partnerships with these companies and many other. Their own line of detectors is the Depth Master professional grade. They do have a shown room store attached to their warehouse, and they ship internationally. The two founders have a pirate museum on Cape Cod. The musuem houses artifacts from the wreck of the pirate ship Whydah. Using special metal detectors that they developed. Which they used to locate the wreck and it's artifacts. They are available for sale on line, or from their warehouse location in Southborough, MA.

Used Tesoro, Fisher, White's, and now have a Nokta Simplex. Please send me a response. Thanks,

@@IffySignals okay, I just wonder how the Nokta Legend and ML Equinox would compare? Any ideas??

Depth wise they are neck and neck. Separation wise is very close as well. Where the equinox shines is its ability to ignore (will id as iron) rusty bottle caps and big iron. The Legend does not have that ability yet.

So, in the video, did you compare and test the Legend or Simplex to the Equinox 800??? I'm confused now for sure 😊. My brother sent me the Simplex. Very good comparison considering you could almost buy three simplex to one equinox. I would like to see a comparison with the simplex vs the vanquish and I think there is different models of the vanquish, not quite sure if equal money spent on the two vanquish could be on the same level in features and build quality, let alone performance. I like the idea of back light adjustable screen and flashlight on the simplex along with being totally waterproof where I believe none of the vanquish models has those features. Just my opinion but Nokta Makro is setting new standards of what other manufactures should be doing in the future as Standard.

You can't beat the simplex price if you mostly do underwater. I've ordered the Vanquish for my 11yr old, because we dont go underwater hunting and Multi IQ is a winner for me. Also you can pair up any wireless cheap headphones with them.
@IffySignals5 жыл бұрын
Congrats 👍 im sure he/she will love it.
@mtslyh5 жыл бұрын
You will not want to just pair up "any wireless cheap headphones" with them. Standard Bluetooth headphones will have a significant lag that will drive you crazy. You will want to buy a pair of AptX low latency Bluetooth headphones (which are more expensive - $60). They will give you a much smaller (yet still perceivable) lag that will work much better for detecting. I have an AptX low Latency transmitter that I plug into my 10 year old detector with a 1/4" phono plug. I use AptX low latency Bluetooth earbuds and I do not notice any real lag. This all assumes you bought the Vanquish 540 which is the only one that has built in Bluetooth.
@iscahistoryhunter42235 жыл бұрын
@@mtslyhThank you for the info but I've tested my KAMTRON Bluetooth headphones rigorously and there's zero lag and for only £20. Also just recently I found a 100BC Roman gold Ring on a highly contaminated. Land. So they're all good. Yes I do know the 540 is the one that has Bluetooth. I read the info and tested it before I ordered it at Detectival in September. I also got the pro pack because the great value for money, if that's OK?

Mikey, I am looking to get back into the detector game. Been watching a lot of videos comparing different detectors and I can say without a doubt you do a great job of clearly describing your detector tests and without bias giving your opinion. You said at the end of your video for suggestions on future tests your viewers would like to see. I am strongly considering the Nox, Deus, and Amphibio. I think the Nox is the best, but some are saying the Amphibio is getting better depth. Have you ever used one and what is your take? Also, I think you should add to your test garden some iron touching good targets and others with the iron higher over the top of good targets. As most parks have been pounded to death over the years, most good deep targets have probably been missed due to masking by other detectors. Would really like to see how the Nox and other top line detectors handle this.
@IffySignals5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jason, thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it. I have the Nox and Deus but have never used the Anfibio. I have heard great things about it being well built, fast and deep.
