When you have two machines from the same maker at the SAME price point! Well, Nokta oughta be paying you for explaining it all to the consumer. Well done, Stephen!

Excellent video, I've been trying to decide which detector to buy next, I currently have an ACE250. You have helped persuade me to buy a simplex ultra. I have 2 questions that I hope you can help me answer. #1 Will the Simplex Ultra pick up on a coin that might have a nail very close to it ( like next to it) or laying somewhere above it? I have a lot of pre-1930s houses with a lot of buried nails near me and I'm tryin to get that silver but my ACE250 sees the nail and doesn't signal the coin. #2 You mentioned using earbuds with the simplex ultra but I thought I read that only Nokta headphones will "pair" with the detector? Is there a way around that or have I been misled? Thank You for your time! Bonus question if you don't mind, why would I want to lower recovery speed? Is there a cost to having fast recovery?
@southernrelics4 ай бұрын
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. To answer your first question, yes the Ultra will do a great job at picking up a coin in the midst of nails. Yes as long as the earbuds are “low latency” Bluetooth headphones and they will pair with any of the new Legend, Simplex, Score series detectors. For the bonus question. Lowering the recovery speed will maximize depth, but you would have to swing slower. This feature works great on really old properties where the targets are super deep.

Thanks for breakdown on these two new detectors !! Do these new detectors share same shaft as old simplex plus ?? I want the 17000652 longer shaft for my old simplex plus but not sure about fit ???
@southernrelics8 ай бұрын
Yes the shaft diameter/size is the same between the Score, Simplex and Legend.

Is the double score a better and deeper detector than these ? Are headphones interchangeable with these and the legend? Thanks for your videos
@southernrelics8 ай бұрын
The Score and DS will have similar depths. And yes the same headphone will work between the Simplex Series, Score series and the Legend.

What is the advantage of having multiple frequencies?
@southernrelics8 ай бұрын
The simultaneous multi-frequency gives the detector more stability in soil that has more mineralization. Salt water beaches is a good example of that. Plus, even in normal soil, the more frequencies penetrating the ground gives you more chance on more targets detected by the machine.

Hi, make a video nokta Score 2 vs nokta simplex ultra.

I don’t have the double score, but I will pass this on to the other NOMADS and maybe one of them is willing to make one.

What's the depth of implex
@southernrelics3 ай бұрын
It all depends on the coil size. With the standard coil, I have dug coins out of the ground at nearly a foot deep.

For love of God...will someone take the new simplex into the ocean and see how the beach mode works in salt water.
@southernrelics8 ай бұрын
I’m not sure if anyone has been in the water with one yet. Probably not in the northern hemisphere, since it did not come out until November, and it’s in the middle of winter time here. I imagine come springtime, people will get in the water with it. But common sense tells us that it is wintertime and people don’t get in the water in the winter time with metal detectors. If I lived near the coast, I would. But I’m 4 1/2 hours away and don’t make trips to the beach but maybe once every two years. I did talk to the other KZbin channel called Southern relic adventures. He has had his on wet sand, but I’m not sure about in the water. He said it is super stable in wet sand.

@@southernrelics Funny how easy it is to just type in the KZbin search bar what you are looking for, yet people don't do it!

I like Nokta since I can pair ear buds instead of headphones and I can wear my sunshade hat on the beach. I dont know why other companies are still forcing the use their headphones.
