Good stuff Adam, Master of the fields and beach. A detecting god to some...a living legend to others

Great video, as always, mate. I call the old copper QEII pennies "noisy crickets" - blow your ears off 😅. For the flies, SkinSoSoft moisturiser by Avon, Royal Marines approved, and seems to work.
@antonharefield83412 ай бұрын
Used to live on west coast of Scotland, Skin So Soft was the only product that worked for me, I smelled lovely too. Got mine packed for Detectival, just in case the Letchworth gnats are out.

Do you ground balance yours or you dont need to over there?
@DTEKTSUSSEXАй бұрын
Always ground balance. Worst cast scenario it does nothing. Best case it improves performance. Only takes a few seconds. There's no down side.
@antonharefield83412 ай бұрын
Just shared the vid with my friend. See you at Detectival, promise I won't call you Arron. Cheers!

Good hunt Adam. Definitely need new gloves. I'm going to detectival for the first time so will come and say hi to you and Aaron

would you say the legend or triple score is better on the beach ? many thanks
@DTEKTSUSSEX2 ай бұрын
Both are equally stable and capable. The Legend has a few additional settings but unless you're an advanced detectorist, most of those are surplus to requirements for beach use.
@laurence96852 ай бұрын
@@DTEKTSUSSEXjust went ahead and bought a triple score, do you run tracking ground balance on the beach ? And what sensitivity
@DTEKTSUSSEXАй бұрын
12 sensitivity generally...but set it to your location. Just play until it's stable. I haven't used the tracking yet. I'll be giving it a try soon.

Great video as always can’t make detectival unless you pick me up in the way through 😅

I'll have a car full with mine and Arron's stuff sadly 😥 Hope to see you at the next one!

Pin pointer still sounds a bit iffy to me Adam but enjoyed the video as usual👍

I thought the pin pointing on the detector sounded spot on and quite good 🤔

Hi Adam, I enjoy watching your videos and have subbed your channel. I’ve recently started my own channel as well! As a fellow Legend user and Nokta fan, do you think Nokta will add more branded accessories in the future? I’m proud of the company and would love to show my support with Nokta swag! Gloves, more hats, shirts (that fit a USA body😂), etc? Happy Hunting! Sam
@DTEKTSUSSEX2 ай бұрын
Hi Sam! Welcome aboard! I'll check your channel out 😊 They've done branded apparel in the past so it's possible they'll do it again. If you can get to a Nokta sponsored event they usually give out caps etc.

My triple score must be crap because i buried a quarter at 4 to 5 inches and tryed both the big and small coils field park beach and all the frequencies and it won’t find that quarter for nothing…I see on all these other channels people hitting coins 10 inches deep and there’s no way mines doing that…I’m running version 1.2 beta 3..

Without knowing your set-up or location it'll be impossible to say what's wrong...it'll either be settings or a fault. Fortunately, Nokta's after sales service is the best in the industry. Get in touch with the authorised service centre for you area, or contact Nokta directly on their website and they'll get you sorted out in no time 👍
@128MrRonАй бұрын
@@DTEKTSUSSEX Right..I’m not sure whether to send it back or not since this is my first real detector but I’ve tried all the settings except DT..I’m in dirt in the Midwest in America 🇺🇸… tried different speed settings depth settings and all…It will detect them on the surface but not very deep in the soil..So maybe 🤔 it should go back to either the place I bought it or NOKTA..
@DTEKTSUSSEXАй бұрын
As I said...it's impossible to know for me without seeing all the settings and taking into account environmental issues, hardware connections, soil type etc. Definitely contact the shop first. In the rare case that they're not helpful, go to Nokta direct. I guarantee they'll get it sorted one way or another 😎👍

Don't be fooled people., this is a crap machine . I got 5 it is noisy with the headphones on. Crap on depth ...
@DTEKTSUSSEXАй бұрын
Set it up properly and it's a dream. Learn your machine 👍
@garyking9623Ай бұрын
@DTEKTSUSSEX been using it for over a month on every setting you can think of . Been detecting for 11 years , by far the worst machine I have ever used .
@DTEKTSUSSEXАй бұрын
The vast majority of users love it. I love it...I've used it more than any other machine since I got it on release. It's absolutely incredible once you're learned how to use it properly. You've definitely missed a setting somewhere or not recognising an environmental element (I assume you've turned your phone off or to airplane mode...?) or similar. But without being there with you in the specific environment and seeing what you're doing it'll be hard to diagnose. Luckily, Nokta have the best aftersales service in the business. Send them a video of it playing up, the environment you're in and the settings you're using and they'll be able to sort you out 👍
@garyking9623Ай бұрын
@DTEKTSUSSEX I will do that. Thanks for the advice . Every setting is so noisy, and vdi numbers are just jumping continuously with constant noise ,even with sensitivity down . Finding relic mode is probably the better mode with other settings ,but depth is dreadful. Got my old simplex plus out and my simplex was kicking the triple arse with depth and that's single frequency.
@DTEKTSUSSEXАй бұрын
@garyking9623 - cool. Yeah, multi-frequency machines are a lot more sensitive and take longer to learn than single frequency ones. But learn the machine and it'll outperform the plus by miles (and I love the plus!). Happy hunting!
