@@NapLabReviews i concur. your reviews are exceptional. sidebar: does nolah still donate portions on their proceeds to wildlife foundations? i can't find anything on their site and just saw another channel mention that. curious because i narrowed my choices down to this, winkbed and saatva classic. but if nolah donates, that's the deal sealer for me.
@NapLabReviews Жыл бұрын
@@5thpixel Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't believe Nolah is still making those donations. If they are, they are doing so in secret, so I cannot find any information about it either.

Trying to decide between the Nolah Evo 15 Plush vs the Saatva Classic Plush. About a $450 price difference and I’m a side sleeper 90% of the night, on my back the other 10%. Which would you recommend?
@NapLabReviews Жыл бұрын
Both are excellent and high performance mattresses. So either can work. It really is more a question of your personal material and feel preference. Saatva has more of classic coil / traditional feel, given that it has far less foam in it compared to Nolah. Nolah Evo 15 is a memory foam hybrid, as a result, it has a more dramatic and exacting body contouring hug. So the question...do you like memory foam and lots of hug? Or do you prefer a more traditional coil style feel? That's what you need to ask yourself.

That Saatva is quite uncomfortable. We went to the showroom. All their beds offer very little pressure point relief.
@STree42Ай бұрын
@@ThePhoenixstar88 THis is definitely true. However, this Nolah model felt like a half-inflated raft to me. Zero edge support and the whole thing would collapse under normal weight (190 lbs).

is it build like a premium mattress? I like the way EOS and Saatva look which is more high-end. i don't want a budget looking mattress
@NapLabReviews Жыл бұрын
I would say it's every bit as high end as the EOS or Saatva Classic. Saatva RX is at the next level, but it's also another $1K more expensive.

Can you provide any insight into their Firm model? I tested the Lux Firm in store and thought I sank too much on the back and stomach. I also sleep on my side. Hoping the euro top and firm model would work. I’m 6ft and 200lbs.
@NapLabReviews Жыл бұрын
I haven't tested the firm model, so the following are estimations based on my experience with Nolah and other mattresses. But in general, you can always expect a firm version of a mattress to sink less relative to a lux firm. I would estimate the firmness is around an 8 out of 10, where 10 is the most firm. Given your body type, body weight, and sleeping position I think it can meet your needs well.

yo, there was this little matress i was on in a hospital that was SUPER light you could almost carry it with one hand and seem to have a bunch of little beans in it, you could put all your weight on it and it would only go down a tiny bit, best sleep ive ever had, do you know what matress type im talking about?

Unfortunately, I do not. That sounds like a pretty unique mattress.

Can you please explain why the ratings on your scorecard in this video are different than the scorecard ratings on your website for the same exact mattress? This video ranks an overall score of 9.77 but your website is 9.28. The scorecard on your website reflects 5 of the 8 graded areas as having lower (worse) scores for this mattress than this video scorecard. Those areas are important factors in my purchase decision so the discrepancy matters.

In April of 2024 we updated our scoring system from version 1.1 to 1.2. These changes impacted every score on site, with all scores going down, as it is more difficult to score the highest scores with our 1.2 system. This page has a complete breakdown of all of our changes - naplab.com/how-we-test-mattresses/explaining-our-2024-updates/ Naturally, we couldn't update the videos that were already published. This is why the video scores are higher from the scores on the contextual review pages. We added an explanation within the video description and a KZbin card to help explain. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Your incredible reviews make it impossible to pick a bed! Would you please review a shitty mattress so I know at least which one to avoid! :-)

Thank you! I'm glad to hear my reviews are hitting the right marks. In 2024 we're going to be testing a variety of new brands, including some that I have historically not have much confidence in (but who knows, maybe they are better than the last time I tested them). We've got tests coming up from Amazon (Zinus, Classic Brands.), Costco (Novaform, Sealy), and Sealy (Posturepedic Hybrid & Cocoon). Others that I'm looking at testing this year include Serta, Tuft and Needle, Beautyrest, Tempurpedic, IKEA, Kirkland, SleeponLatex, Big Fig, Charles P Rodgers, Plushbeds, Eco Terra, Latex for Less, My Green Mattress, MLily, and more. Let me know if you have any suggestions for models / brands you'd like us to test a look at.
