The belief that the Federal Reserve would stop raising interest rates was the driving force behind the entire economic chaos. What should we do now that we have a situation where interest rates are crashing? At this point, how would you suggest that I safely allocate $300k?
@philipr1759Ай бұрын
Although the market is currently volatile, aren't the current valuations a result of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy and low interest rates? Therefore, my recommendation is that you consult a financial advisor who can give you entry and exit points for the shares that you are interested in.

Does your company offer a 401k? If so, contribute to that, especially if the company offers a match. And if a 401k is an option, then there might even be a Roth version so you can continue to grow your contributions tax free. If you have very few health expenses, then getting a high deductible health plan will qualify you for an HSA. That will allow you to exclude your contributions from your taxable income like a traditional IRA, and it will grow tax-free like a Roth IRA.

His other videos explain that so many companies now have international exposure (e.g., Amazon sells everywhere), so it didn't make much sense to him to intentionally go after international companies since so many of these massive American companies contain international market share. People get bored and twitchy about leaving their money in something that doesn't make them short term profit. Back when the SCHD reconstitution happened a lot of people were panicking and telling everyone to abandon ship and then when the next dividend payout happened it was the highest March dividend SCHD had in its history. People don't know what they're doing. 😂

Schd divvy payments grow pretty well in a rate dropping environment, I need more money into SCHD to have the cash flow to retire @@Atrus999

its like 28% but most people are stupid and most news tell the story of the day... its actually criminal to compare stocks day per day instead of at least 1mth or 6 or 12

Tesla has been lagging the other 6 by a wide margin. It's ready to rip as it benefits greatly from lower interest rates.

The tightening was too aggressive to begin with. The rate hikes have broken an already fragile economy that would have worked out the inflation in the free market. The Fed chose to spark inflation buy napalming the public with stimulus right when the global supply chain was broken and production of good and service basically did not exist during Covid. It was gasoline on the perfect firestorm. Then, instead of letting the inflation work itself out… we hiked rates thousands of times higher than they were in the most massive pounding the Fed has ever given an economy. They chose to break the inflation they created over the backs of the middle class. Now they’re providing a little relief and everyone is acting like it’s going to bring back Covid level inflation and end the world..... Anyone feeling the impact of these economic shifts should consider Crypto long-term trading strategies to protect their assets. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 720k from day trading with Seren Wintersun in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

@@appleztooranges definitely not saying that lol. Emergency funds need to stay outside the stock market
