These going from less than 10 minutes in season 1 to full 40 minute documentary episodes is awesome and should be encouragement to keep this going!

Is anyone else getting borderline pissed that these guys don’t have a million plus subs? The filming, editing, storyline, and soundtrack selections are absolutely NEXT level! WTH is the deal?

I've heard of this channel before but didn't really check it out until recently. I've watched 4-5 of their different series that they have...and I will probably continue to dig through the back catalog. Unfortunately, their podcast, which I know they are known for, is lost on me. I just get bored listening to people talk like that, them included. The thing is...its like.....I like their series content, but at the same time something is missing. I can't quite put my finger on it. I think the guys are a good reflection of a range of golfers. But for some reason, I don't like all of them. But a lot of these golf channels do end up in the low to mid 100k subscriber count. To get to the million subscriber mark is tough.
@roblandham12693 жыл бұрын
@@joeycameron4744 Agree. The podcast is pretty boring and the weekly pick videos are a snooze fest. Strapped is the best series by far because Neil and Big Randy are the two most likeable guys (IMO). Tourist Sauce is great because you get a full blown docuseries of a range of courses in 1 tourist location. The problem with a lot of their content is that its hard to follow. There are A LOT of inside jokes, references to past episodes, and it doesn't quite give the viewer the ability to just jump right in. It's also nearly impossible to follow their actual golf action - they don't really keep scores and status on a scoreboard for the viewer to easily reference.
@jefft98933 жыл бұрын
@@joeycameron4744 I agree. I cant decide if these guys are even likable. I mean compared to the Barstool rejects they are but that's a low bar. Sometimes I think i like a couple of these guys but then they go off on ridiculous references or jokes that nobody gets and it makes them annoying. I will admit though that I am in my 40's and I dont fully understand the Millenial/Gen Z lingo. I think their audience is geared towards younger guys.
@Hergenator3 жыл бұрын
@@roblandham1269 that’s a good point. I was a little lost on the inside jokes and lingo when I first started watching & listening. Albeit worthwhile..it takes a little effort to get up to speed with their humor.
@langheldphoto3 жыл бұрын
@Jeff Cellier im just saying that QUALITY wise these guys should be up much higher in subs. I do agree though that i much prefer the aforementioned quality over quantity. It just seems the quality doesnt match the sub count.

I'm from Michigan and couldn't wait for this season to start. Watching episode one, it is embarrassing to admit just how much I cared what Tron thought of Buddy's pizza. When he said it was great pizza, I almost cried. So proud. I feel like I'm on this trip with the guys, and I can't wait for the rest of the season.

Being from Michigan this is so cool to see NLU play a lot of courses I’ve played on this channel. I’m so hyped
@RobArnold773 жыл бұрын
Drive to Survive (with a serious budget) changed the sport of F1. NLU (with a significantly lower budget) is doing the same for golf. Tourist Sauce (together with strapped etc) is a great reminder that the new narrative of golf is predicated on accessibility and inclusivity but is at the same time, aspirational. NLU is successful not because it is a golf show but because it exemplifies what golf brings us - connection, characters & camaraderie. There’s only one question I have which this season will hopefully answer - is It his time? #Yessir #Icarito

I watch this season every year around this time to get me even more pumped for golfing in northern MI in the summer. It really is some of the best golf in the country. I moved away to Cincinnati when I was in my mid-20s but am lucky enough to be able to spend most of the summer up north now. I love that this channel was able to show how awesome Michigan really is.

Awesome video! I lived in Toledo, OH for 3 years, about 45 min south of Detroit, and that city has so much pride. Like people LOVE saying they're from Detroit for better or worse. It's a place that has experienced a bunch of hardship, but you have some of the hardest working, tough people on earth from that city, and they are so proud to call Detroit their home. Such a misunderstood city.
