The Riiver has changed, that is the way it is. Man will have to make a way around this change.

Man caused this catastrophic even end of story... weather mod is REAL whether people can grasp the reality of the world they are living in comes down to waking up from generational perpetual ignorance... ran in my family too.. not any more those days are over

*Nice flight over the river. It appears the river claimed the railroad tracks a while ago. 👍*

Any chance of a “Before and After” version of this?

I have paddled the Nolichucky many times but would be very worried about entrapment issues at this point, particularly the railroad debris.

Maybe not a safe place for those guys at 0:18 to stand beside and below the railroad tracks with the ground washed out underneath. It is interesting yo see the awesome power of nature!

In the spring when the rain comes and some people in kayaks or rafts try and run the river, will probably hear about someone drowning.

Especially on the Green Narrows

People have already ran both the Noli and the Narrows without incident.

@@trvman1 People have been running the Nolichucky and many many others for years and occasionally someone is lost. So why would next spring be any different that before??
@DavideCox-y6s24 күн бұрын
Anybody that is getting in the river now is an idiot. They might want to check in with the ones testing the water because the last I heard its a no go zone. NC has posted warnings to keep out of the river

Would imagine the water quality is not as nasty as the French Broad. I would guess the FB is a dead zone
