Actually what happened was Em was passing out flyers at St. Andrews Hall for a release party for the Slim Shady EP. Which was just after Infinite came out. Em handed a flyer to ICP and they read the flyer that said said "special guest: kid rock, esham, ICP?". At the time Em was new on the scene, ICP was on their 5th joker's card, The Amazing Jeckle Brothers and they had no clue who Em was. So ICP got pissed that Em would just put their name on a flyer thinking they would play his show with out asking. And Em said "well I'm asking you now". ICP basically told Em to fuck himself. Then ICP went back to the studio to do their weekly raido show called the Juggalo Show. That night they made and aired their diss track called "Slim Anus". Making fun of Em's hit single "My Name Is". The next day Em went to that radio station to do an interview and the DJ told Em about the track ICP did and played for Em. That's how the beef started. Needless to say Em bodied ICP in response diss tracks. Years later, proof squashed the beef with em and ICP before proof died.

I was 17 years old in march 2000 when I bought the Marshall Mathers LP for $10 from a dude in high school who made and sold burnt CD's. He was one of the only people at the time that knew how to download and burn them so he made a killing off this album,it's all everybody was asking for. Eminem's first album The Slim Shady LP came out the year before and just shocked the world like wow finally a white rapper that's actually very good at it,not fake and "Just Don't Give a Fuu"-------WAIT!! that was 18 years Agohhh??? I feel old af now...Damn you Time!
