When he says “put my make up on”, he is talking about his “fake face”. The people in the background wearing white are people who aren’t showing them true selves. They are still carrying their burdens (black balloons), but they are presenting their “fakes faces.” NF is wearing his normal clothes to symbolize that he is showing his true self. Carrying his burdens and dragging a cart through the grass and mud. His life is hard, and he doesn’t want to put a “fake face”on, but he has to at his shows. That’s why at the end he is sitting in the cart overwhelmed and someone comes and brings him white clothing because he still has to do his tour, and still has to deal with all his other burdens at the same time.😮😮 NF isn’t just a rapper, he is an artist

That's a good interpretation. My take is that his background is his brain (mind), hence the grey background./ read grey brain matter. The people in white walking around represent the white matter of his brain. He's then struggling through walking through his brain dragging these burdens. Balloons is def burdens - he points to them early on. A cart on rough ground. That's a struggle there. Needn't be heavy, just hard to navigate. The 'white-coats' look like other people in his life/around him - rarely connecting, + they got their own burdens. He checks out the one on the bench - maybe someone he has a responsibility to?/family/loved one? See the cage from 'Outcast' in the back. The bleak landscape of his mind?, his vids all have that washed-out look. Really cinematic vid and still overall simple, when a beat pump impacts, it rattles the view - great effect. You can hear TP's orchestral sound signature. Using 'strings' as percussion, again. And again to great effect. '...I'm making movies or music videos' Answer: YES. Just great to watch - great to listen to ... and then ... and THEN -The Lyrics. SMH. If there wasn't a line, bars or message in there that just popped an image into your head - put up the subs, upgrade your headphones & go again - Don't miss anything.

Yo, I just wanted to say that NF has a LOOOT of symbolism in his videos. Almost everyone of his vids on this album is connected. The people in the white clothes, the balloons (obviously) they all kinds the together. Just watch them in order and you will see what I mean. Don't concentrate on ND but the backgrounds. Trust me you will start to see the connections in his vids. He uses symbolism in a different way and it's crazy. The symbolism with his balloons is his depression. Or his burdens (he refers to them in like his second verse in the beginning to middle I believe) I havint figured out what the white dressed people are I have a few ideas but nothing concrete.
