Viewsonic. A little less crisp but good deeper shadows and not so greenish as lg. I think I'll buy it next weeks waiting for a oled with higher frequency than Lg 950 and with non measurable pwd oscillations

Have you looked at BenQ ew3270u - seems to be budget king. VA panels often have worse mounts, because they look good only straight on - mounting them at angles, viewing off-center or vertically just doesn't work.

At this point I don't understand why monitors or even TV manufacturers even bother putting speakers on them. I don't think I've used built-in speakers on any Monitor or TV since say... 1987! Yes like over 35 years! Yes I'm serious! You can buy a decent pair of bookshelf speakers for $200 that'll outlive any TV or Monitor you have (I've had some for well over 25 years that are still working). They've been moved around from generation to generation of Monitor/TV and work just fine! Same goes for TV's, I've always hooked up TV's to some sort of combination of either a stereo amp/floor standing speakers/bookshelf speakers (for smaller TVs). I honestly just wish Monitor/TV manufacturers would just stop including speakers at all. Do people actually use them? They are always going to be crap and by this point doesn't everyone already have like a dozen pairs of actually good bookshelf speakers? I know I do, without even trying. Accumulation just happens over 40+ years. The confusion happens though when you start reading reviews. Reviewers will often mention the terrible sound quality of something so it always drags the score down. So that's another reason why I just don't get why they are even included at this point. Buy yourself a $150 pair of Edifier powered bookshelf speakers off Amazon and be done with it.

I have a viewsonic and the controls are a pain but not bad once you get used to them. I paid $200 off craigslist and had to buy a stand off ebay for $65. My first 4k but hey atleast I have it. I like it very much.

Hello, Thanks to your review I chose LG 32UN650. May I ask you a question regarding your model? I noticed one minor thing on my copy. When I am powering off monitor, then after press of the button screen goes totally black, and in half of a second backlight of the monitor will blink. I never seen this in any other monitor, and I am just wondering if this is normal. Thank you in advance.

ViewSonic is a VA panel. Crap unless looking at it directly from the middle. That alone the LG IPS wins. Also based on the onscreen image in this video the LG looks to match the Mac much better.

Would have made sense for you to CALIBRATE the LG, because the Viewsonic slams it in terms of colour. Minus the rather contrasty image which you could adjust or also recalibrate.

The ViewSonic obviously has deep colors than the LG. But the LG is more like the MacBook which is used as the baseline. So I think LG is better.

I bought an Lg UK850 4K IPS 7 Inch Monitor in 2018 , All reviewers on youtube praised this thing but I am very upset about it. After one year of use it has a horrible back light bleeding all across the perimeter of the screen having a 3/4 white bevel, which is very annoying. Same thing with my Lg TV witch have mutiple white round spots. I never had this problem with Viewsonic . I have no longer Confidence In Lg Screens anymore. This monitor costed me $ 750. I want reviewers to review their product at least 1 year After.

@@NOlimitsON Doh. Local supplier had this specified incorrectly. LG 32UP550-W has pivot though. Guess what's the difference? LG 32UN650-W doesn't have arc shaped slot in metal part of stand while LG 32UP550-W has it. That's like 15mm x 3mm difference making worse functionality on UN650. The rest looks almost the same! Insane.

I bought LG 32UN650-W, and it has vignette & color uniformity issues. I asked LG to exchange with another item, the replacement was better on vignetting, but has vertical banding. So, the exchange failed. Then, I went to 2 different stores, both display sets there also have similar issues. Is 650 a universally bad product? Should I just give up hoping for another exchange?

@@NOlimitsON Doesn't matter, because most games are 4k60 based. A few titles do indeed 120hz, but that's at the cost of resolution, it mostly scales down to 1080p so if that's your type of cake..
