I'm really happy you did this song! Thank you! I thought you'd like it. Yelawolf was signed to eminem and I think the only white guy hes ever signed in 2011 but after trunk music 3 he is independent now. Yes hes been labeled as a racist and Its ridiculous bc he has 3 biracial children, a black baby mama. And idk if you remember Febe dobson but he recently married her and was dating her for many years. He pretty much says he was trying to show ppl he was on some New south shit and that we've grown so when ppl reped the rebel flag at his shows he didnt think nothing of it but then that racist kid that used the flag and shot up that church was a racist and so ppl looked at yelawolf like that and some still do. To be honest I think some of it is jealously bc his flows are ridiculous and hes got that unique voice. He recently sold out his Detroit show on his own now. You should check out "pop the trunk" that's what made em sign him and KXNG crooked said it's a masterpiece. My personal favorites are Catfish Billy(the first one not 2) and bloody sunday freestyle. Hes got alot of good shit tho. P.s Wheres the Snow tha product- How I do it reaction? 😁Keep being you bro💓

Catfish Billy 2 is a good one to react to. Yeah, he had some people get upset over his use of the Rebel flag. I'm glad he stopped using it. I'm also from Alabama and there are two types of people who fly the Rebel flag. Yela referenced The Dukes of Hazard in this song. A lot of people grew up on that show and they had a big Rebel flag decal on their car that was a key part of that show. When I was a kid, I loved The Dukes of Hazard. I had all the toys and whatnot. I didn't really grow up with the flag meaning anything about race or the Civil War. I didn't learn about that stuff until I was older. I grew up with that flag representing good guys fighting back against a corrupt system and corrupt law enforcement. It was like a representation of the little guy (simple country folk who we could relate to) standing up to the rich and powerful. I think that TV show was instrumental in how a lot of people like me first saw that flag. Plus, you couldn't look in any direction where I was from without seeing one. It was so normal that we really didn't notice it, kind of how you may not notice an American flag at a car dealership. I mean, it was something that just didn't stick out in your mind. Later on, as I got a little older, I started to hear the controversy. Still, back then, my thinking was only the KKK used it as a symbol for racism, but they also used the Bible and no one was attacking the Bible as being a racist symbol. The racists I met in the South didn't necessarily use that flag as a symbol of their worldview. I'm not saying that some of them didn't have one, but a lot of other people did, too. So, it would be like saying, since some racists have cars, all car owners are racist. It really wasn't until I went in the Navy that I started to change my mind about it. I can't tell you how many dudes had that flag who were not even from the South and every single one of them was racist as hell. Plus, they all assumed since I had a Southern accent that I was racist like them. It pissed me off and I started understanding why there was a controversy surrounding it. I had never been out of the South prior to that. I started thinking that if every racist in other parts of the country wraps themselves in that flag, then, by definition, it is a symbol of racism. It's 2020. We should retire that damn thing and put it in a museum where it belongs. There is no place for it in America today.

He needs to re-release that track with a few new bars for Royce. Calling this man a racist!? How far off could someone be. He's one n of the all important bridges between the races. For someone to try n tear him down is truly evil.
