His son, Hank III, is also great. He plays everything from very traditional old-timey country music where he sings almost as well as his granddad, to outlaw country to hell billy. He also has another band, Assjack, where he plays hardcore rock with a bald singer screaming into the microphone.

You are officially a Country Boy! We come from all over all backgrounds - its about self reliance, treating others respectfully. Don't you love how Hank Jr lays it down and tells such truth in his songs and that voice is off the charts - you hear that you'll feel it and then the instruments so well played. Hank Williams Jr is son of the Famous Hank Williams who passed early due to alcoholism. Hank Jr has struggled himself and had a severe facial injury from years ago which drastically changed how he looks - but he persevered. He has a funny side and poke at himself side - might check out Whisky Bent and Hell bound, and Family Tradition - 2 classic outlaw country favorites. Enjoy!

Um, sorry, his father died in a car but not in an accident. Complicated story that. Hank Williams Sr. was 29. Some credit his 1947 tune "Move It On Over" as the first rock song.
@truckertriesfarming97924 жыл бұрын
@@mikecaetano As I recall, he OD'd on liquor and pills. I'd have to fact check myself, but I think he was popping speeders to stay up, and downers to get to sleep, and the harsh ups and downs of that wreak havoc on your body. Then, add excessive quantities of alcohol...
@mikecaetano4 жыл бұрын
@@truckertriesfarming9792 Wikipedia tells the tale well enough. He suffered from spina bifida and throughout his adult life compensated for the pain with booze, pills, and injections. On the night he died the culprit was morphine. He wasn't partying though, he was sick and in pain and on his way to a show in Canton, Ohio. He died while he slept in the back seat of the car taking him there.
