I own two World Race Complete Sets and they have tripled in price online, most for sale for 3-4000 dollars, so definitely a success lol. I had every Acceleracer except a couple drones. I sold them all. I had rare schemed cars and even custom Teku Deora II and Teku Slingshot. Sold them for 200. Sold Reverb and Chicane for 420.69. Sold Flathead Fury for 175. Sold a few for 350 in a one deal and sold the others 1 by 1. But that's just toys. HotWheels is a lifestyle. And these movies are a gift. Something besides the toys, inspire young kids to be idealists, having creative lifestyles and going beyond what most would consider impossible. And Mattel has done it many times even physically. Elliot Handler is a genius. Now, many of us have that fire inside us

One of my favorite ironic details is in the water realm, where Vert tries to go for the “fastest time ever” 30 into the realm, but then he crashes and then Taro does his second run of it in 15 minutes, contributing to Vert’s existential crisis

It is worth to note that Taro was going for his second run in a row in Water Realm, and he didn't had any other drivers and obstacles in the way, so it makes sense Taro would have made a much faster time than Vert and himself (on the first run), but it is still an amazing accomplisment for Taro to finish the same realm two times in a hour.

Another Easter Egg. During Highway 35, Taro said ' I'm gonna pass you ' to Vert and crash because Vert fired his grappling hook by accident. In Acceleracers, Taro said ' I'm gonna pass you ' to Vert again in the Lava Realm and crash. Secondly, remember that Taro told Kadeem he will pass Kadeem next time in Highway 35 after Kadeem said ' What was it Taro? Is it Im gonna pass you or I'm gonna tie you '. and he did it at the Storm realm in Acceleracers.

heres's a cool easter egg i found out: At the end of World Tour, doctor Tesla mentions that Bert Father fixed his robot after it was damaged, which would have been a cool way to say that Bert Father worked for the Silencers since the very beginning since Tesla stole that technology from them

Yeah, and i think the 4th wheel it's just not to replay,but it unlock all realms(total of 100 ), normal wheels give access to 30 realms each(Aceleracers, Drones,Silencers), maybe because that Vert's father took it in the final movie, for studying and gathering tecnology from unknow realms. There are a lot of things Mattel could explore, it's wasn't just a show for maketingthey created, its a great series that go beyond, teaching much things, i hope it go back someday!

Interesting note: I think the "faceplate" on RD-L1 especially closely matches the crest shape of the Acceleron towards the end of Ultimate Race. Most Racing Drones have the obvious forehead pattern in common with the organic Acceleron, but I think it's quite notable that the Racing Drones match the "crest", digitigrade legs, and even number of fingers as the Accelerons. I figure it makes sense, since, like humankind later down the line, the Accelerons would build automatons largely in their own image.

I remember watching World Race with my brother as a kid, but I didn't see Acceleracers until my brother got "Speed of Silence" from a White Elephant exchange. When I saw it was a second movie, I checked the library and found the other ones. I was blown away by how good these were. Why?! Why is a commercial for toy cars so good?!

I can always go back and rewatch Highway 35 and Acceleracers, even now as an adult, and find myself enjoying every second and remember how I first received a VHS tape with the first part of H35 (which came with Kadeem’s car) back when I was 5 years old, and later (at 7 or 8 years old) getting a DVD bundle for the first two or three Acceleracers films that also came with Kurt’s car and a drone’s car. From 5 to 10 years old, I collected whatever I could of the series’s toys and tracks, but the Toys R Us I went to at the time was always lacking in an appropriate variety of cars and tracks, so I had a fairly meager collection anyway (it was primarily just most of the cars of the main cast). Lost a fair amount of the stuff (including the VHS tape and DVD bundle) when I moved to my current home 7 years ago unfortunately, but at least I still have my memories of all the great times that series gave me.

I don't know how much of an ''easter egg'' you can call this, but it's a similar detail to Bassline's driver seat placement. Racing Drone cars all make this distinctive high-pitched humming sound, which is because they're equipped with turbine engines rather than conventional piston engines, according to official Acceleracers car specs. Turbine engines do really make this kind of sound.

At the start of race 2 from the World Race, there was a scene where Taro's dash-cam had a malfunction. Of course, Taro punched the cam and fixed it. I don't know if it's true, but it feels like a reference to Aliens (1986) when, in one of the scenes (at about 33 minutes in), the exact same thing happened to a character named Drake. The movies had similar lines and actions. Great video though!

All the cars that are shown on screens in the movie. Are cars that were left in realms. Slingshot for example was left in the storm. Baseline was left on the cliff side. Both cars are shown on display on the acceldrome and silencers base
