With how Tezla acts towards the drivers is unethical to say the least. As noticed, Jack Wheeler is indeed a Silencer, but it's also unmistakable that Jack Wheeler has a military background. Considering the uniform and medals. I propose the theory that Tezla's Skrim cooperation was founded specifically to create Military vehicles (much like the US military and companies like Lockheed Martin and Humvee) Tezla was the leading Scientist to design these vehicles, which is why "These cars can really take punishment" The Silencers are a Military Project. Hence how uniform and orderly the act. Much like a squadron in the Military. And considering how frequently they win. It's clear to they they're very highly trained. Growing up in a Military family. I've been told stories of how higher ranking officials, scientists and commanders are given harsh training to "block out" certain emotions dealing with loss of fellow troops. Perhaps Tezla was given even harsher training to block out such emotions on an even greater level than just hiding them, staying calm under pressure and focusing on the mission? This would explain the reason for the EDR and all the other AMAZING points you brought up as examples further proving my theory of this training! And Maybe Tezla's discovery of Highway 35 resulted him to be banned from the Military all together. As it could be considered insanity to claim that these Accelerons built race tracks and a wheel of power and who knows what else And at the end of the World Race movie. Jack and Vert enter a portal in the Deora 2. Jack says Tezla told him everything. What if the "Little Spin" he wanted and Jack pushing the Nitrox button was done on purpose to see if Tezla was telling the truth. Because then he could report to the Silencers and they could move forward with their plans to further study Highway 35 and eventually enter the racing realms?!!! (Sorry this is lengthy. I've thought about this more than I probably should haha)

@@carljohnson7168 Gig is the next part I'd love to explain. I think Gig didn't become a spy until AFTER the Wheel of Power blew out his systems. Notice how he wasn't functioning until after Jack showed up at Tezlas old HQ And he didn't speak much at all after that point. This explains his different voice in Acceleracers. So what if Jack "helped" Tezla fix up Gig, restoring him to this default state. So the Silencerz could spy on Tezla. Tezla definitely would trust Jack as they were both Silencerz at one point. Mayhaps Tezla figured out Jack settled down and started a family. Hoping Jack wouldn't be a Silencer either and being (former) friends, Deora 2 was meant to be for Jack, not Vert. And there's still a plethora of hints and proof in the 5 films that further show Tezla is former Military. The decisions he makes, way he talks, the way he scolds the drivers. And this is just one aspect of Acceleracers! There's NUMEROUS other moments and patterns to explain and give depth to each character.

He is undoubtedly the uncredited protagonist. He drives the story the most. (Puns ha) I've always been intrigued with the Peter Tesla character and his morally grey personality Heck the writers were even brilliant to bring attention to it by having kurt wylde even work with galorum and question tesla so much in acceleracers Keep in mind kurt is kind of a neutral character working with the villains in highway 35 and even HE isint as morally grey as Tesla. That's actually really impressive to be able to have the neutral character be way less questionable than Tesla. Also even if these movies are meh to you, or simple to you, or bad to you. You cant deny the voice acting by whoever voiced Tesla did a phenomenal job, a very unique voice I always remember. Fitting for such an ethically grey character

Damn, this might be the most out of all your videos of stuff I really never thought of. The complexity of Dr. Tezla. I also never noticed how Karma talked to Tezla which sort of opened him up a bit as he went back to Karma to talk about the Silencerz, almost like he needed somebody to talk about this. Kind of a longshot, but I believe that Tezla is a very impatient and stressed character. The drivers in Acceleracers are way too casual and messes around too much, he's like the most knowledgeable (besides gelorum) about the whole Accelerons, history, and powers of pretty much everything so he's probably really upset he has to let a bunch of teenage kids do most of the job for him (since he was heavily injured in the beginning of Ignition) The parallel pathways between Tezla and Lani are also really interesting, one wants to be selfish and the other doesn't. ...I also never noticed Lani announcing the drivers by just their first name. It's hard to say if that was intentional but WOW that is a nice detail And the Kurt and Tezla part. Yet another example, of how everything connects so well in Acceleracers. I don't have much to say to this, this video was amazing. Noloaf, you've outdone yourself on this one. I'd be damned if you somehow top this one in the next video. Q&A: I'd probably say Gelorum still, I tend to take pity on others and I'd say that Tezla has his own reasons. Reasons he just can't really properly explain but I think Tezla could've been one of the best characters on the show if they went in more detail about his "pushy needs" or even a backstory and how he became the leader of SCRIM.

One thing that makes Kurt different from Tezla is that he's unwilling to get the other drivers seriously harmed, especially in World Race. Even as Zed-36, Kurt tries to assure Gelorum that he can get the Wheel of Power with his own skills and not having to resort to much more desperate measures.

Gelorum is the evil counterpart to Tezla, both of whom's morally objectionable methods stem from their obsession with the Accelerons. Gelorum is motivated by sadism beyond to her programing to win (showing up in front of Kurt to rub her deception in his face, delays executing Tezla so he's forced to watch her destroy the Acelerons he holds dear, and showing excitement at her cruelty unlike other drones). Tezla in contrast is (comparatively) well-intentioned but misguided (first wanting an energy source then to stop the Drones, all before he realized the full significance of them to his want to see the Acelerons). Gelorum even argues they're not so different to Vert during The Ultimate Race. It's because of those methods both Gelorum and Tezla failed to get what they wanted, Tezla's side only winning due to the actions of the heroes. Kurt was a hero despite his similarities to Tezla because both series ended with him acting to fix his mistakes while Tezla realized his too late, needing others to fix. Kudos to the series for producing such a complex character.

Well, Gelorum does have free will, as she led the racing drones against the Acceleracers willingly. And as for Tezla, he may be untrustworthy, selfish, and manipulative, he does usually have good intentions behind his actions, unlike Gelorum who is pretty much nothing but a villain who wants revenge against her creators. So yeah, I do think Gelorum is more evil, but Tezla is still not the most moral of people.

If anything, his knowledge and want to do the right thing makes him more immoral. He still like that despite his intentions
@thespianuzumaki5452 Жыл бұрын
Idk, it feels to me like Gelorum's 'free will' is all about winning races while expressing emotions while working towards that goal: which is the very programming by the Accelerons. She does say that the Accelerons designed them specifically to win, and I feel the only 'flaw' in their programming is that Gelorum and the racing drones were with emotion, especially Gelorum. Gelorum wanted to uncover the Accelerons secrets just like Tezla as to why they took off and placed challenges in the first place, all because of their 'programming'. Tezla too wanted to know about their existence and uncover the mysteries of the lives they lead and meaning behind their existence. (And why do the Drones and Acceleracers fight? It's simply because the drones would wanna win everytime and the emotions when you conquer something is unmatched, as portrayed by the drones when the won accelechargers, heck even the acceleracers expressing emotions after winning them too. If push came to shove and possible, Tezla would have even worked with Gelorum if that'swhat it took. He even pleads with Gelorum to take him with her when the realms opened when the accelechargers wereall in place for the final race through the realms.) Kinda makes Gelorum look more better in comparison. She is a straight up dictator and Tezla is simply a conniving rat, hiding behind good intentions.

always thought that Gelorum was a means to the end for Tezla, because really the dude sacrificed so many people which was probably why Banjee was meant to be a Silencer later. Maybe we would've had this weird revenge plot. Maybe nobody was good but Tezla would've had a better change of heart after what Gig did. After all, everything he does also has Gig. So when his friend dies, I think that was a bigger kick in the stomach than a former driver like Kadeem.

For me he has good intentions, but still: Dr. Tesla keep secrets, lies, keeps the best technologies and cars for himself and he was the one who betrayed the Silencerz, not the other way around. You know what’s very interesting: In the Ultimate Race, when confronted by Gelorum, Dr. Tesla see that he lost in the end, and upon realizing that, he decided to abandon everything and everyone by asking Gelorum (his greatest enemy) to take him with her, so he can see the Accelerons. But obviously she declines his request. I’m 100% sure that if there was an AcceleRacers 5, Dr. Tesla wouldn’t show up. He simply would disappear and leave everyone in the dark (like he did between Highway 35 and AcceleRacers Ignition). Well, unless the events of Ultimate Race changed him, of course.

The Edr and teslas actions go hand and hand if you really pay attention. One thing you may notice is that Tezla's edr is imperfect compared to the one the silencers use. His edr returns the driver, while the one the silencers use return the driver as well as their vehicles. Its smart they only started entering the realms when they had that improved version. If the car gets left behind, the technology may be stolen, so they only entered after the edr was advanced. This can also be further proof that he stole from the silencers, not the other way around. While Tesla may have learned how to enter the wheel of power, it was the silencers who made all that tech for the possiblity to do so. It just so happens the silencers have advanced the edr further due to Teslas actions, to prevent further stealing of tech, keep in mind Tesla may have forced their hand in improving the edr in that right. So hes most likely not the former leader of the silencers, scrim was likely a front for Tesla after leaving. Say what you want, he is still the only character to steal tech from non evil factions. Even if the silencers arent exactly the good guys.

@@christopherdelacruz9728 Molecular Bonded Shell, obviously. This and the fact that the cars are also equipped with Grappling hooks, Turbo Boost (aka Nitrox2), adaptive Tires, and passive laser restraint system that protects the drivers from the forces of an accident mean that Dr. Tezla has also worked on or stole the technology of the Knight Industries Two Thousand. That's right, Highway 35 and Acceleracers are in the same Universe as Knight Rider. Which means that the Silencerz are actually a paramilitary division of F.L.A.G. and that Major Wheeler is David Hasselhoff.

I cant say that Tezla is an villian. As i got older i realized, that i am watching these movies for the mysteries, the lore and unknown. I see things from the perspective of mr. Tezla - when i was younger, i was seeing it from the driver perspective. I am not saying the way he is acting towards drivers is healthy, but at the end, he also evolved a lot and i am as he is, blown away by the mystery of the aliens and all that jazz. "As more as i am studying it, the less i can understand this" which is basically me when it comes to the universe, life and the unknown.

I believe Tesla is a scientist, he sees the most logical and least more ways of getting things done. Obviously cares about the drivers and the world because of his nightmare scene.

I have a theory/headcanon about why Lani works for Tesla. Nothing you said denies nor supports it so I'll continue to believe this as well as take this video into account: In world race, when Taro smashes Tesla's door, the damage was too expensive and Lani's cheque didn't cover it so he let her work off whatever was left. As for why she continues for so long, my beat guess is that she was scared of what might happen to the drivers if ONLY Tesla was there so she stays to watch out for them and help them.

I still think Kurt was on to something. Especially with the “ending” of acceleracers (since it was “too popular” to continue and it would overtake Hotwheels). There’s something about Tesla that is unsettling and he definitely doesn’t reveal everything about the silencers. I feel like if it continued, he woulda been a villain.

@noloatf when Lani said we should told them every I think she meant the previous loss of driver not the time limit of the racing realm as in if they were to have mentioned this to the driver they might not have been to keen on racing for Tesla again
