Could NoMachine be a good replacement for Parsec?
@XeroLinux6 ай бұрын
Nope. Not intended for gaming. Just rdp. Supports bidirectional transfers

If you want to replace Parsec, use Sunshine on host and Moonlight on client. It's often more responsive than Parsec, open source, utilizes hardware encoding, and hosts on Linux.

@ProteinFromTheSea I was gonna suggest that. Thanks

I can't listen to the audio of my ubuntu server. Any idea?
@XeroLinux5 ай бұрын
Yeah you have to mess with audio routing in NoMachine. Click on the top right corner then on mic icon n see there. I usually just access remote pc just to stuff no audio needed.
@alisson5515 ай бұрын
@@XeroLinux I already tried that. Somehow I am not being able to listen or use my mic. I would use no machine to work using my company computer and my personal computer, so the audio would be mandatory to participate on online meetings :(

@alisson551 Did you try the audio icon? Sorry as I said I never needed to route audio. Could be something with either pulse or pipewire no clue.
@alisson5515 ай бұрын
@@XeroLinux yes I did. No problem, thanks for trying to help!

@alisson551 no problem. Sorry couldn't help. Best of luck.
