I love Tuscon. There is a great embroidery store called THE WEST. It was started decades ago as a way to fund a girls shelter. All employees are volunteers. I spent $$ there because the design patterns relative to the Southwest were ones I had never seen. Tuscon has a great vibe.

Snyder Hill BLM, definitely a convenient location close to Tucson, not the prettiest, but a fairly safe place for overnight parking. Tucson area has a lot to offer.

I lived in Tucson for 7 yrs attending UA. Graduated 2003 w computer science degree. Lived homeless for a yr while going 2 school - earned a 4 yr scholarship, which put me in an apt. I won $4,700 (tax free) at Desert Diamond Casino that carried me thru the 1st yr financial. Learned a lot as a homeless person (basically living wo the necessities). I don't donate 2 charties due 2 living in women shelters, Salvation Amy, food stamps policies etc. All homeless ppl qualified for $120 mo in AZ. I was denied cuz I wasn't black, Hispanic or white. It was a white man married 2 an American Indian that showed me the book that said in big blk letters that homeless ppl qualified automately 4 food stamps. If u are not the right race in a particular community area, u will b denied etc. VA benefits are 4 male veterans not women vets. Thxs 2 the casinos & God's help, I was financial able 2 support myself during the 1st school yr.

I wanted to share with you Chantel I'm sorry about your awning. If it's a pole that broke you could contact the company and request replacement poles or buy them on Amazon. Same with your awning.you really need to have the shade from the awning as well as the tree out there in that brutal sun. Hope you and Joey have a very merry Christmas.
