Ha! Great way to review a lure Greg! You should do that with some other gear as well. Maybe do a featured lure or presentation technique (how to jig, etc) once a week during the winter months.

Really? I thought it was lacking

It was definitely challenging in the pool. You would think a competition size pool is big enough and deep enough but when swimming a lure that is capable of getting 3-4' down the pool was too small. Most of the pool is 3.5' and the lure would ride the bottom on a steady retrieve. I think the buoyancy was off due to fresh water rather than salt; therefore the slow float characteristic was more like a suspending in the fresh water. Thanks for watching.

It's been about 2 years since you uploaded this video. Did you really use this jerk bait a lot, what were your results with this lure? Did you ever try this lure on fluke?

Never tried to directly target fluke with and never caught a fluke on a Nomad Shikari. I usually use small jigs for fluke. I have caught a lot of striped bass on the Nomad Shikari’s. They aren’t the best casting but not terrible. They have great action and dig in some so there’s scenarios where I prefer them. Windy conditions when a long cast isn't needed, especially in moving water that is deeper than 5-6'. For someone who have never fished one it's safe to say these lures fit will in most spots that Rapala XRap, Bomber Long A or Yozuri Crystal Minnow would but they are different than all of them.
