Gold is often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.

Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. It's important to have clear investment goals and educate yourself on the type of investment that interests you. I work with a financial consultant regulated by the SEC, and started small, but eventually accumulated over $800,000.

Hey Nomad I have a question for you. I’m a Bitcoin miner, and I have concerns over the Bitcoin network, because there’s hardly any home miners left, it’s all big warehouses full of these machines, and all registered businesses. Right now between the US, Canada, Germany, Ireland and Malaysia have 51% of network hashrate, and I believe in 5 years time it will all be industrialised. What would stop the government from showing up at these warehouses and taking control and doing a 51% network attack? Infact they probably wouldn’t even need to show up at the warehouses, they would just need to bribe the CEOs with a private plane which they all seem to love. I’d like to hear your thoughts. Cheers
@user-xg6yc8ho3wКүн бұрын
The answer to this can be found by researching it online. But TLDR....nothing to worry about.
@shredz4816Күн бұрын
@@user-xg6yc8ho3w In my opinion, this could easily be done in a time of war with the excuse of "stopping the funding of terrorism"" Maybe not for double spending, but for blacklisting addresses. I got into bitcoin years ago because originally I thought it was anonymous, outside the traditional banking system and did not need a bank account, that eventually it would become a currency that could not be inflated away. Its clear now that bitcoin is none of these things so why is it worth anything? Why would it have a value as an asset if it cannot be used for anything just used as a store of wealth when actually its not worth anything.
@fairplayer7435Күн бұрын
So how does the 21 million bitcoin cap gets inflated? Are you sure you understand bitcoin? Just buying something doesn’t always mean you know what it’s all about.
@thetruth9210Күн бұрын
@@fairplayer7435 because there will be a layer 3 on top on the blockchain that can infinitely divide bitcoin. Because bitcoin is gradually falling into the control of a few people who will do what they want with it But more to the point what makes bitcoin worth anything at all. When I got into it probably before you it was going to be a currency or more precisely digital money and its value was derived from it being digital money that we could all use outside the banking system, But over a decade later there are less shops (as in none) where I live where I can use it, all the ATMs have been closed down by the government, its taxable, ETFs have being launched and the people I know who have it just hold it hoping it will go up in value which is the main reason most people have it not to use it as a money Explain to me what makes it worth anything because if it is not used as money I don't think it is and it is not even another fiat. Maybe Peter Schiff was right all along

Generally I really like and enjoy your content, but what this guest is saying is just simply false / misleading, what he says absolutely doesn't make any macroeconomics sense. This is just not how macroeconomics works. Also, I don't quite believe it would be very capitalistic to dump a currency because of political reasons.
@Testruecast2 күн бұрын
What exactly does not make sense. Be specific. The current market cap of Bitcoin is a substantive percentage of the US monetary supply. In the upcoming run it can 10x from here. Plus, the dollar will keep experiencing inflationary pressure accumulating by state use of digital assets. It is a trend.
@bigfisher43542 күн бұрын
100% agree. Bitcoin is best viewed as a diversification asset, similar to gold, but it will never replace the USD or any other fiat currency. Setting aside the fact that no government would willingly adopt a currency they can’t control, Bitcoin faces massive barriers. China, the second-largest economy, has made Bitcoin illegal, and global governments would never give up control of their own currencies. Bitcoin’s environmental impact is a huge issue-its energy consumption is off the charts. Where would all this energy come from? Then there’s the extreme volatility. Why would the average person want to use a currency that can swing by double-digit percentages in a single day? On top of that, the Bitcoin network can only handle around 7 transactions per second, while systems like Visa process tens of thousands. How could Bitcoin scale to global usage? Bitcoin’s capped supply of 21 million coins makes it deflationary, which incentivizes hoarding, not spending. Economies need inflation to encourage circulation and growth. Plus, Bitcoin lacks the flexibility needed for more complex financial instruments, like loans or derivatives, that fiat currencies and traditional banking provide. At the end of the day, Bitcoin is more like a risky version of gold, and it should be treated as such-not as a replacement for the USD or any other national currency.

The ultimate price of Bitcoin will in fact be zero... like the dollar, it has no intrinsic value and is a failed currency since fees are so high, is painfully slow to transact, has virtually zero adoption for everyday purchases, is ridiculously energy intensive, and will have no incentive to keep the mining calculations working once reaching the minting limit. This "asset" class will ultimately destroy more people financially than any other in history.
