I actually adore this idea. I think travelling opens up your mind and help people to be more receptive of others. Whenever I am travelling to somewhere me and my husband - we make sure that we see the places or things that brings out the actual flavour of that place and we learn their history. We learn the habitat and the difference in the lifestyle which is very unique. We avoid shopping centres and material plasures. It has helped my 8yrold daughter to understand life better. Only thing that she buys from a place is a small object like fridge magnet. She never even asks to buy any costly items. I was never like her in that age. Travelling means a lot to us.

Any tree that grows very tall needs a stable grounding. The life this family is leading looks interesting but continuing it could have lasting issues with children. Why is it a big achievement for a 6 year old to be able to speak with anyone? Human minds are designed to learn everything at a certain age. The greatest orators never went around leading a nomadic lifestyle to learn public speaking. A lot of children whose parents are into transferable jobs face such issues that they cannot connect to any place. I know there will be a contradictory comment saying that 'our children find the whole world as their home as they have lived in different parts' but human mind wants to connect- connect on a long term basis. Hometown is not just for writing on papers rather it is the feeling that dwells in our hearts forever. That's how we progressed into The Neolithic Age. Nomadic families stay at a place for a very short time (max 2 months as per this video). Now what do the children learn in this time about social relationships? Just superficial aspects like talking and other etiquettes? We need to spend a good amount of time with the same set of people in order to learn how to empathize with them. The ability to have long term/permanent relationships in future nurtures through the childhood and teenage years. Children of nomadic families spend very less time with people at each location and then move on and forget about them. Imagine watching 10 movies in a day- back to back. How many will you remember clearly? In the same way the children of nomadic families are being stuffed with too many heterogeneous memories and information most of which stand irrelevant for the young minds. About educational implications I wouldn't comment as the same idea of socializing and making lifetime memories/permanent friendships applies to school life. And most of us will agree that our best friends still are from school. Traveling is a leisure activity which helps us rejuvenate ourselves and shouldn't be denied this status. Imagine if we start eating ice cream/chocolate cake in every meal- it will cease to be a mood enhancer for us. Similarly, children of nomadic families will be unable to use traveling as a way to relax. So beware of this consequence. Well, it's your life and your family but I hope you have considered the psychological aspect of this lifestyle as well. Goodluck to you guys
@santoshkrisnamurthy2 жыл бұрын
It’s about whether you tear travel as a leisure activity or an opportunity to embrace continuos change,challenges, experiences, and learnings. The fact that it liberates you from the age-bound learning is what makes travel worthwhile. 🙏🙏
@shivikool12 жыл бұрын
@@santoshkrisnamurthy Well, I recommend you to read about Rousseau and Tagore's philosophy of Naturalism in Education. It also aims to give children the similar education but not by depriving them of their home altogether. Basic idea is to move forward in evolution.
@santoshkrisnamurthy2 жыл бұрын
@@shivikool1 And how do you decide which direction is forward in evolution? Evolving as a human doesn’t require you to be in a school and stay in the same place. Evolution means you evolve as a human being in terms of emotions and learning. And this is the path we chose. You may agree or you may disagree but that’s your opinion and we respect that.
@shivikool12 жыл бұрын
@@santoshkrisnamurthy As human beings evolve, they learn to live as a society.. develop a neighborhood. If the culture of nomadic families continues to rise, then the familiar neighborhood arrangements and social relationships will eventually get disrupted and give rise to criminal activities. I am not against homeschooling, so I haven't written anything about sending your children to a good school (have a look at my comment again). About Emotional development, do you know that there have been several studies where it was found that frequently relocating people have lesser attachments to possessions and people. Such people were also more likely to let go of their friendships and personal relationships in their later life.

Income goes into Savings + Tax + Insurance + Home maintenance + Vehicle maintenance Home maintenance involves Communications (internet, subscriptions, electronic devices, appliances) + Fuel + Cooking gas + Electricity + Fruits+Vegetables+Groceries+shopping online +Hospital Home gives time to continuously improve Career. This is how you can sustain life and live long. If any one or more of above connections break, life becomes difficult. With nomadic life the cost of maintaining above connections gets higher and unsustainable. I predict in few years from now, you would settle down at a rental house at a place where you are close to nature with low cost of living. You will eventually understand that we need to keep expenses to as minimum as possible and ensure your income is higher than your expenses. This couple dared to give their children which most urban parents cannot afford to give, I am not talking about money, I am talking about time. How many parents today actually spend enough time with their kids on a daily basis? It is the easiest route to be comfortably employed and pass off your lifetime under the false pretext of responsibilities, because you are getting worthless fiat currency in exchange while your boss makes you his biatch, it is really tough to get out of your comfort zone and work hard to gain experiences of a lifetime and also live according to your personal accord and not have to unwantingly conform to societal norms. That is the real sense of living and freedom.

Rat race is one thing but not sure what’s the future store for these kids as in India tough to survive after been an outcast.
@santoshkrisnamurthy2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate your concern, but can you let me know what is the future of other school going kids? How can you predict future of any child? What we are doing is giving our kids practical knowledge while also studying through books. There are many such outcasts who are living next door to you and you don’t know that. I personally know some of them who are super successful.
@nikhilchandra22932 жыл бұрын
@@santoshkrisnamurthy I believe you are actually the one from the video it is great to connect directly with you. What I believe is at least till teenage all kids should be provided with equal opportunity and as parents, we should not decide/mold their life as per our beliefs instead let them try and decide and we are a bystander. Our education system might not work but still provide endurance and maybe school is what's the best for some kids and they can be far successful been in the system and taking them out of the system we might take away the chance of it and we never know.

Thanks a lot for your words of appreciation 🙏 we don’t own a KZbin channel because we don’t want our kids to start posing for the camera. Instead they should just soak in the experiences. As far as my wife’s teeth is concerned, she is perfect the way she is and I love her the way she is. I would not change anything her. And for people who feel it to be a distraction, I would say, you are keeping your phone too close. Not good for your eyes 👀 😉

Leaving a stable life behind can never be an impulse,especially when you’re a parent. If you wish to know what are we teaching our kids or how does travel makes them a better individual, do connect. But without knowing about us, assuming we are impulsive is a bit uncalled for. Anyways, it’s your opinion. 🙏
