Lovely interview and huge respect to her 👏many times I feel woman from earlier generations (our grandmothers ) were much stronger had lot of mental strength and courage and resilience than us. One thing which this generation has to learn from .We have so many facilities, opportunities and privileges , which they dint have then , still they faced it all and made it beating odds 👏👏

I have the privilege having known Mangalam for nearly fifty years and our friendship is deep and strong. We have volunteered in the same cultural organization for several years. She is extremely affectionate, down to earth and modest. She never talks about her achievements. For instance, we had to know from the news story in The New York Times that she was named one of the 50 (or 100, I forget) influential women in the country and she was recognized in a ceremony in New York by Mrs Elizabeth Dole, a cabinet member in President Bush's cabinet! And we friends had to find this out from a newspaper story! This personifies her inner make-up.

Great interview! Mangalam Chidambaram (I love to call her aunt Mangalam), a lady with grit to bring change within the community. Learnings: There is no shortcut to success, continuous learning upgrades one to spring up new opportunities, restless needs to unhappiness, pause in life to make the right decision, being busy and focused on work besides accepting your spouse as human to build the bond despite the difference of opinion, marriage is a bonding vs partnership, money is the root cause for evils within families, nothing is improbable but should be negotiable to be successful, work towards goal rather than pushing to reach the goal. Thanks to Yana TV!!
