When using vegetable oil or canola oil the smell of used oil lingers for awhile. Try using peanut oil instead it won't smell. This is a pro tip from a chef.

If you ever get near Ft. Knox in Kentucky, there is a gas station that has amazing Chicken...and they sell JoJo's. They are battered just like yours. You need to give them a try if you get over this way. Its called Dodge's Chicken in Muldrough.

I have always liked the wedges at walmart, but now I have to try to cook along side you and make some of those tonight ! I might modify it though and put the seasoning and salt in the flour mix instead of putting it on the top because, it is too hot I don't want to turn the oven on. So I will have to Cook them all the way in the oil.

hey Eric, if you have a Safeway grocery store near you, sept 20-26th, perdue chicken legs will be on sale for 1.49 per pound. they also have individual thighs, same price, but i thought of you. my guess is purdue will put them on sale at all national chains so keep and eye out at any local store from friday, on. not sure how that compares to walmart prices but just wanted to let you know. walmart if my fav store of all times. im there 2 to 3 times a week, lol. not seen the video yet as my hubby and i like to watch it together (we will tonight for sure) let’s see more of that cute “fuzzy butt” oven mitt! 😊
