EMSR 04/04/2024 - No. 6172 Royal Green Jackets steam loco at the EMSR

Hello everybody its Foxy speaking and yes, recently on Thursday of the 4th April 2024 I attended the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway in East Sussex for a fun, enchanted little day out which was certainly most enjoyable, entertaining and gleeful I must lovingly say :-). As many of you may already know the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway which is generally opened daily from generally early April until late October or sometimes from late March until late October, or even the very first weekend of November dependent within certain years and all the rest of it. The Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway (EMSR) is a delightfully enchanted preserved miniature railway run in the fashion of a normal preserved steam railway but a miniature version of it. Its lots of fun and oneself can visit it anytime from the Spring through until the Autumn season :-). I've been there before being there in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 and the last time I went there until the 4th April 2024 was on the 16th September 2023 which was certainly a good long 6 and a half months ago and really more or less the nearing the end of their 2023 running season to say the very least in referral to the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway running in September 2023 but all the same it was certainly most fun and certainly the likeable reverie for myself when I went to the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway :-). But yes in this video there was me 'Foxy' happily watching and observing the Royal Green Jackets no. 6172 miniature steam locomotive seen in action steaming and roaming around the surrounding grip of the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway (EMSR) itself which is always thoroughly worth watching whenever it happens :-). Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, its thoroughly well worth while! Especially when their steam fleet is running in full fruition :-). I am certainly completely in total agreement with you Pamela yes indeed it really truly is 🙂. I always get a great thrill of enjoyment both having a ride on the miniature steam train whenever it is in action and at the same time seeing children and fully grown adults showing pleasurable excitement in having a ride on it aswell 🙂. I certainly did indeed ride the miniature train Pamela yes I rode it 3 times last time I went to the EMSR though I uploaded the videos days before this one being that of the videos featuring me having a ride on the EMSR miniature trains, just to say. Hello Foxy, what a wonderful miniature steam train, it really is a joy to see that people still make time to make such beautiful working models. In my youth my father and I made model aircraft and boats. Aircraft mainly in wood and woven cloth which would be harden with dope (a sort of varnish) and boats in wood and fiberglass. Making those wonderful steam engines would have been out of our reach because of the time and machinery involved but I can see the experience and skill needed to make one. Hi Foxy I love trains especially steam. My brother is still a train enthusiast, he goes to watch them daily he’s been in love with the steam engine trains since childhood. He was born in 48 so they were much more common here, the best way to travel. It’s great to see families and people of all ages enjoying the rails.
