Currently getting into my 5th year as a medical student and want to practice in Canada long-term. Been binge-watching your videos and they are really helpful, so thank you. I wanted to know if there is a way I can contact you, I have so much to ask you and you being an IMG, your answers and advice would be perfect for me. Thank you once again

If an IMG is away from practice for more than five years and working as an ultrasound technologist in Ontario ( registered with CMRITO). Does he need to go back to his country and practice for at least one year? and Does he need to pass language test?
@nomemorization11282 жыл бұрын
The recency of practice means either independent or supervised Physician, it is better to have it within three years of CaRMs application, but working as an ultrasound technologist will enrich the resume. So it is better to go back home for practice. Yes, a language test is needed as well.

Hello sir i really appreciate your work regarding informations about MCCQE. I want to know from you that if I get my Canadian PR first after graduating MBBS in my country and then give MCCQE 1, NAC OSCE and MCCQE 2, 1)Will I be able to get a job in Canada as a doctor after passing these exams or are there any other rules to be followed to get a job as a doctor in Canada? 2) Will it be less costly in terms of exam fees and materials required for preparations of these examinations once I become permanent resident of Canada? I look forward to your answers and thanking you in advance.

My pleasure. Thank you so much for the question. 1. You also need to complete residency training to practice medicine independently depending on your choice of specialty. 2. Fees are the same but few provinces may reimburse your exam fees depending on where you live. I do not know which province but heard about Manitoba. Hope it helps. All the best.

@@nomemorization1128 Sir , Iam an MD Biochemist frim INDIA. If i do not want to get int clinical practice , and want to work in labs only , do i still need to do residency ?
@nomemorization11282 жыл бұрын
@@drpallavijain5057 If you only want to work in a lab, you can do some lab related course rather than doing residency training. You will get a better job with that.
