The tracking pink energy disks are actually Frieza's move. When Frieza did that, only Goku saw it. This is everyone else's first time seeing that specific move and they're all of course comparing it to Krillin's Destructo Disk. But Frieza has telekinetic powers (which means so does Cell) and uses that (those hand signs) to make it follow whatever he's trying to hit. Fire reaction btw, keep them coming!

This is genuinely one of my favorite fights in Z, The chemistry between Cell and Goku is very unique compared to most other villains throughout all of Dragon Ball, a mutual understanding between they two of hoping the have a good match

When Goku hit Cell in the back and Cell quickly retaliated, they really moving wayyy faster then we perceive them . They just show the hits in speeds we can see so we can actually know what happened the entire fight . Also nah when Cell splitted his self into four different ones, it didn't divide his power because he literally perfected that technique wayyy better than Tien just cause he's an Android . Tien using that technique tho splits his power into four because he hasn't fully perfected it yet . Goku only took them out because he fought Tien using that before, plus he split them up one by one to take them out

It's actually funny you mention Goku not caring about the stakes because even his friends and family acknowledge that before the Cell Games started. All Goku said was when won't lose because I have a plan, that'll save everyone. Goku, himself, acknowledges that he should be more worried about the consequences if he were to lose, but he says he gets so invested in the fight that he starts to enjoy it and no longer worries about losing.

those discs were freeza's and not krillins . Krillin's destrcuto discs are yellow and freeza's is pink
