On the 26th February 2019 a fire broke out in Imizamo Yethu, Hout Bay in Cape Town. The fire destroyed 8 homes and left dozens of people displaced.
Five days after the fire, Lumkani paid out Nomvuyo's full claim allowing her to return to dignity.
