that's what the research shows, but I don't have a great post-op op xray showing the lesion disappear at this point. Only stable lesions. Been using it since 2022. So far I've only had one case get worse where I had to switch to doing a restoration.

no side effects, lasts until the tooth falls out naturally around 9-10 years old for first primary molar

You can use either material. My personal preference is GIC for the continued remineralization

It can be applied to occlusal surfaces, however, in that scenario I would place a GIC sealant since it will remineralize and arrest incipient caries and make the surface smoother/more cleansible

@@MadChristoph not necessarily... sometimes they're born with congenital enamel defects and it's no fault of their own. Also, the responsibility falls more on the parent at that young of an age to start brushing and flossing for them as soon as the molars come in and having healthy eating habits. It's complicated... more than just 'they didn't want to brush'

I have 4 babies the young who 1 have cavities from the front like this because of the breast milk 😒 he is the only one who got cavities like this from the milk 4 teeth too like hers but the two front one is not that bad like hers it's the side of those is bad look like holes 😤🥺 So we went to the dentist 7/30/24 rn they said it's not the breast milk it's fruits sugar stuff dentist doctor said When he 2 go to a different dentist to take out his front teeth 🥺😤

My childs teeth came in with enamel hypoplasia after i had severe hyperemesis throughout pregnacy. We are strict with no juice or sweets, dedicated brushing routine and fluoride treatments but it looks so bad and always feel we are judged.

My third son ended up with these. My two other kids didn’t! I was so confused as to why! He does like and eats lots of acidic fruits, oranges, berries, and I was brushing til night. I read somewhere that I needed to clean within 15min of not possible right away after being exposed to those types of food. I had no idea about this. Also my third child doesn’t eat milk or dairy products so his calcium was probably not the best. I really wish I’d known all of this :(

I got a metal casing around my tooth they told me it was an adult tooth so it wouldn't fall out later and was necessary. It fell out the next month

My son got these! They were originally going to do white fillings, but he had a different dentist do his work and they decided on these. I think they are more protective and don't really fall out as much as white fillings. Honestly I'm not sure why they changed to these bc I dient even notice till after he got home. But jm very curious to see what they look like when his baby molars fall out! I bet the tooth fairy will give him more money for those!

Can you clarify how long you need to etch the tooth? I thought I heard from you at another webinar that it should be around 5 sec. Here you instruct 20 sec.

Manufacturer instructions say to etch 20 seconds, which varies from some protocols. I have settled on a 20 second etch to ensure the tubules open for absorption of the peptide based on my experience working with the product on my patients. With inadequate etching, my results weren’t as good.

Great video. Is it ok to place gluma after you use the cavity conditioner. I would place gluma for 2 one minute intervals then use the HVE to get off any excess gluma. I eould do this in between the cavity conditioner and placing the equia forte 14:12

Curodont Repair is for incipient caries lesions, but you could use Curodont Protect for home use and well as the other home care products from vVardis, like toothpaste
