Hi in my country my grandmother called pomegranates ,blood apples and when she would cut them up for me my first smell and initial taste was apple. So I totally see how pomegranate can give off an sharp apple vibe great vid .

I don't actually like the apple notes in perfumes. But not long time ago I have found a nice scent with an apple note. Super budget, same old Angel Schlesser. Let me remember it's name... Pour Elle edt. Simple, easy to wear, nice.

I notice that black pepper can have that effect sometimes - turning fragrances metallic. But really digging the apple in PdM's Habdan atm. 🍏🍏🍏 Quaker oatmeal in a bottle.

I tested it once about 2 yrs ago - thought nothing of it, rather didn't like the scent. 2nd attempt - such charming sour sweet apples! but after some wear.. indeed it just doesn't go anywhere beyond the first notes.. a bit shallow
