Non-Critter review of The Legend of Vox Machina

Good to hear non-critters are enjoying the show. They have been playing and living as these characters at their table for years. They remember where they started, where they ended up, and everything in between. This is how they can make each individual character fun and interesting with a unique path and growth arc. Every single one of them has a story to tell. And thanks to the DM Matt Mercer, they all got so much out of their characters that it is amazing. Somehow bringing everything together and wrapping it with a neat bow. While the TV show isn't exactly the same game at the table, they are hitting all of the important moments and points and making it work on TV. I am not at all disappointed at the show.

I am a fan of CR, but have never been able to get into C1, so this is pretty much all new content for me. I agree that one of the best things they've been able to accomplish, and it is very difficult, is to keep the feeling of DnD intact. When you can call out what spell is cast, or what kind of roll was cast, you know that this was created by people who really understand how DnD works, and feels. Also wanted to give a shoutout to the amazing music in the series. Neal Acree really hits it for the critical scenes. There's so much there. Hope the series continues to give you pleasure.
