All "doing" predicates on the belief that there is something which needs to be done. The belief that there is something which needs to be done relies upon dissatisfaction (dukkha) associated with the present moment. This is the lie of dukkha, upon which the egoic self depends. It is the lie that if one could have "more of this" or "less of that" it would finally be satisfied. The egoic self must believe the lie of dukkha since otherwise the egoic self would cease to exist. We are, in fact, that for which we seek. As always, Peter, a wonderful talk. Clean, clear, and true.

Right you are! The variables of awareness are the variables of experience. This is where sharing information comes in. Like how the sun shares (light) with plants etc. All is e x a c t l y where they re meant to be,- enlightened variably. It s all no/yes, bad/good, fear/courage, wrong/right, compet/coop,). we are resistance/acceptance in balance. This brings us right around to where we are. In the middle of right now. Yes?

Hi Peter, I understand the purpose of the exercise "Who am I" from Ramana Maharshi is to discover, after careful practice , there is no answer forthcoming because there is no one there too answer. some teachers get all hot under the collar stating that it is a dualist exercise,yes it is, but that's the whole point of it to show that the truth is non dualistic and one is gently led to one's own truth... no one's asking or answering the question..a thorn to remove a thorn ,then throw both away.... Ramana knew this of course. I would add, who is it that is getting all hot under the collar,a person? surely not.

Since my experience of being struck between the eyes with a bolt of Om, my life has become somewhat more difficult. I have seen and see the universal life source field of consciousness. Of which is the creator and the creation of all life, via cycles of life/auras, interconnecting all life and expanding it via assigned intent to survive and to thrive. I have no questions of the where, what, how, when and why of all lifes creation and evolution. I know why all is and why all do what they do. Kinda boring now, in a way, no questions/wondering, no blaming/competitiveness,.

Could duality be formed out of the non-duality of one universal process with the wave particle duality of light and matter in the form of electrons is acting like the bits or zeros and ones of a computer forming an interactive process relative to the atoms of the periodic table. In such a theory wave particle duality is continuously forming a blank canvas that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!

you’ve probably done it hundreds of times without realizing it, and the only reason you think you can’t is when someone tells you to do it. i’m an adult alpha type male who’s been dealing with 8 weeks of pain from Piraformus Syndrome ( pulsating pain shooting from the sciatica nerve through my thigh, shin, foot and big toe, seems to be nearing it’s end now) and surprisingly i find that when I do my dishes, as I live alone, I find myself in total mental silence and peace, it is when we try to not think, we fail at it. so the trick is to discover which activity most lulls your mind, and just do that daily. it’s not your orthodox approach, i understand, yet it’s one that works for me, so find out what works for you. good luck

It’s just another belief that becomes real only when you experience infinite knowledge power and bliss continuously without a break-a gift from a true Master. 99.9999999999999999999999% of those who believe in non-duality do not experience non/duality continuously without a break. You must wait your turn. Long time coming altho it happens in less than a fraction of a nanosecond but may take millions of human lifetimes to realize. Usually 200 million lifetimes. On average. It can be cut in half in devotion to a perfect master or god-realized being i e avatar who will give it to ya but you must be ready. Wait your turn. Wait for grace. Wait for Godot.

I see the universal life source field of consciousness, of which is and has all lifes things/beings interconnected and influenced by all that life has all doing. The vibrational center of each sub part/part of every piece/part of things/being (Aura/sub aura) emantes variables and are all the variations of actions, thoughts (Lifes tasks/choices/decisions -intent-) and words (communications). This is the cooperative expansion (evolution) of all life,- Animals, plants, trees, humans, rocks, air, water, cosmos and beyond. The 'Flow' has us all doing what we do at e x a c t l y the time and manner meant to be done.

I don't think I said we have an essence, which would imply ownership (if I did excuse me). I was pointing to our essence in the same way we may point to water being the essence of the sea, but the sea does "have" it. it is it.

Yes, thinking about past and future is essential. But we don't need to be doing it all the time. Moreover it can lead to discontent of one form or another. When we pause thinking and bring our attention back to the moment we, can find a natural contentment where we can rest for a while. Nonduality does not deny duality. It sees that behind the duality is an underlying unity. We can easily get lost oin the duality and miss the common essence.

obviously this is not non-duality. every practice is dualism, is for the person that wants to reach a goal. nonduality is the end of the person, the end of self-consciousness and knowing (apparently)

Confusion between consciousness and awareness? Awareness is PRIOR TO consciousness. The former is the Father and the latter the Son! The Son is the Father but the Father is NOT the Son. Advaita, "Not two", can be ONE or ZERO. Between them is where the truth is/resides.

Not the same personal self - the me that is defined by my memories, beliefs, body, etc. But that sense of "I" in "I am aware" has no personal qualities, nothing to distinguish my sense of "I" from yours. THus I may not know how it is to be you in the personal sense. But I do know how that underlying sense of I-ness feels for you.
