+PBryant2.71828 I'm not sure that I understand your question. When he refers to "segregation", he's talking about the different types of solids that have formed. In other words, as the temperature decreased, the solid formed with a different composition than the one that had just formed. This is what led to the segregation and therefore the segregation has different compositions within it.
