I don't understand how he is in the goat debate anyway cause although his trophy cabinet is amazing (which trophies have weight in the goat debate) his footballing ability when compared with pele, maradona and messi is far lacking. The only reason there is a debate about Messi vs Cristiano, is because the portuguese is maybe the marketing goat, if we talk only about football, Messi compares only with the best in history (DiStefano, Pelé, Cruyff and Maradona) category in which Cristiano would not even dream about be in.
